At what RPM do you get full boost?

I recently completed the TD04, 06TMIC, 45 degree intake, & 3" exhuast install and was very impressed with how quickly this thing spools up :D . In 5th gear I have full boost (11psi) by 2100-2200rpm :-D , this seems VERY good to me especially being at 5000ft ASL, but I have no frame of refer...

Hmmm, so should I enter the 15+ class? I hope to break into the 14's but I've only road raced, never drag raced so I'm not to confident in my launching/ starting skills. Is it best to short shift, around 5500 or so? Thats where it feels like the power is falling off.
Thanks!

I just installed one from an 03' and it boosted about 8-9psi using the stock boost solenoid. After using a boost controller I was able to turn it up to 11 psi.

Max boost on stock injectors....

I've done a little searching and haven't found my exact application addressed so here's my Q: I have a TD04, 06' TMIC, 3" exhaust, 45 degree intake & 255lph pump and I'd like to know at what boost level I'll max out the stock injectors (no, I have no way of measuring duty cycle, just lookin...

FWIW- I ordered a cheapy WRX turbo back off of Ebay, $224 shipped to my door, and it 'fits'. Granted its a few inches short, hangs a little low because its not exactly in the stock exhuast channel and the hangers don't quite line up with stock, but I knew I'd have to mess with that stuff anyway. Reg...

Or you could buy Spitfire999's HKS downpipe and have a tube welded on that dumps into the atmoshpere? It would be harder to do on a bellmouth or divorced WG housing DP but much simplier on the HKS piece, it would look similar to the pic you posted except in coated carbon steel not SS.

But how much better is the TD04? can it make more power? can it pull harder? does it push more cfm's? ooo and is that the biggest turbo i can run before i need to swap out injectors?? if you answer yes to all of those answer i can so easily get a TD04. Another very popular option is the TD04 off the WRX's. Some of them even have the 90* housing - I think. It will match up to all your existing exhaust flanges though without modification. It will be as strong as the hybrid you are thinking about and will offer equivalent spooling. The TD04 is kind ...

Last night I got something together that 'should' work, but is subject to what spare parts you might have laying around and the strength of gorrilla glue... I used the stock 06 y-pipe but cut off the bellows section that would connect to the turbo on a wrx. This left 3/4' to attache to before...

Dr. G...You got anything yet? Not yet, I ran into some other issues that I'm trying to deal with... I'm going lerking, hopefully tommorrow, for a suitable radiator hose for this connection. Yellow top 440cc?

My appologies if this is in the wrong section, mod please move if so. But hey, the injectors are in the intake manifold, right? Anyways, I bought a set of what are claimed to be 440cc yellow top jdm injectors off a 99 sti, but I've only found info here on grey top 440cc's. My question: Do yellow top...

Sound is louder for sure. If you go equal length headers, you'll loose the boxer sound. It will sound more race car/raspyish. http://mrtperformance.com.au/ I've never heard a suby with equal length headers in person, but I would think that you should still be able to hear at least a hint of the box...

Hmmm, or another idea thats probably way more difficult: My car was swapped from an auto to a manual and a cable type clutch went in instead of the hydraulic style clutch. I didn't even think of this till last night when I laid in my 06 intecooler, low and behold it fits great :-)
