Seriously? "quickly accelerating from a light" warrants being stopped? IMO if a cop wants to pull a driver over, they have enough rules and regulations at their disposal to find justification. Being that there are a few LEO types frequenting this board, lets hear it from them. Have any of ...

Its doesn't all come up smelling like roses. Local politics suck, especially if you prefer a representative elected government. And, you pay to enjoy the niceties of living here: http://mynorthwest.com/index.php?nid=11&sid=286112

Well that certainly tugs the at the ol' heart strings. My first bike was a '86 Magna 750. Loved it, neglected it, left it in my parents' garage when I went off to college. Then didn't have the time or space to re-invigorate it when I came home and ended up selling it. I still miss it. Good work. Enj...

Could it be sensor picking up 'piston slap' noise? How many miles does the motor have on it?

Tailgating benefits no one. What if a cute fluffy animal were to come bouncing out into the roadway whilst the offending dickhead were so close to your proverbial sphincter? Hopefully the authorities in our great empathetical state would understand (and if not, PETA would). Hopefully for me at least...

Ever buy parts for a european car? Expect to pay at least 2X as much. Also, shops can, and do, charge more for labor on more expensive cars. I've had good luck w/ inexpensive Falkens. All this talk of 'pulling' on one or the other. How does it handle vs. the SS? My brother, who wrecked a '93 S4 on a back-road, would probably have an opinion on that.
Nice car, though. Should make a good highway cruiser. Comfortable, for sure.

3 generations right in a row. nice... ...The evolution of the Legacy wagon. Too bad it doesn't continue, as we'd be able to see the shocking increase in size of the current edition. I looked at one owner and said "you get this right?" Was it that nearby residents are all of lower income? :o

Have you thought about Audi at all? A good condition used S4 has all the luxury you could ever want, and could stomp all over most Legacys, stock. Although purchase price seems to keep coming down, maintenance and fuel cost can be steep.

Before you go spending a bunch more money on a rotated setup, have you looking into phenolic manifold spacers? They're available in a couple thicknesses and could provide more clearance for the intake, plus keep the manifold cool.

Have you considered using an aftermarket knock sensor to monitor knock and to tune with? Link does have the ability to monitor the knock sensor, and I can tune with that. Thanks for sharing. In my opinion the WRX front brakes NEED to be complimented with a larger rear rotor setup, the non-vented H6 setup or the new Legacy GT rear vented rotor. Both are the same diameter, and help shift some of that bias rearward. This puts the balance more like how the stock brake s...

Delta is a great company to work with. Just don't put too much faith in Ken. He's a salesman first and foremost (BS'er). If you're considering it, he'll sell you on why you need it. Not trying to steal your thunder Aero but, those can be had at any good auto-parts warehouse as "worklights" meant for off-highway equipment and such.
Be aware that they're sensitive to vibration and emit a bunch of heat.
