Re: Steering wheels swap/ Clock spring removal

from my experience if you get a clock spring from the newer car too you can re-pin the plug using the one for your car and it will work except for the airbag. I've modified a few newer momo wheels to work with the cruise control etc.

the 4 wire has the int control option.

Re: Random ground wire missing from my 99 forester. Any advi

It is a ground your missing the connector on the engine side.
as for the hesitation like wtdash said try to swap the maf with a known good working one. I would also suggest properly testing the knock sensor unless you think it had some old or bad gas in it

Canadian Dealerships can order from Japan with part numbers. I got many of my hard to replace parts thru Nico and the dealer. I have some other connections with overseas suppliers of parts too just in case I run into any more issues with the rs-ra

Re: Low electricity and acceleration shaking

Like Josh said start with the alternator and battery. I changed the alternator on every 10+yr old Subaru I have ever owned.

I too live in Canada and its can get pretty cold here. Last Tuesday it got down to -7°F. That will freeze up the brake booster and make the pedal feel like you have no brakes.
