Should I connect the wire to another unit (the car stereo?) wich is connected to the ignition?

Edit: Never mind, sorted. This trick worked fine! :D

Have you tried resetting the ECU? Yes, but only with the "fuse14"-method. I can't find the green connectors, only the black ones. I'll try again today, they seem to be very well hidden... Edit: Ok, resetting the ECU was no problem. I did the battery method this time and connected black to...

I'm trying to fix my code 35 by cutting the wire and connecting a resistor in between the wire ends. (100% sure I cut the right wire - and I used a 100 ohm 10 Watt resistor)

Didn't work though, did I do it wrong? Should I connect the resistor to the ECU and to something else in the other end?
