Re: WTB: 1990 LEGACY 2WD AUTOMATIC DIFF/TRANS OR DIFF

You might be better off looking on the first-gen Legacy Facebook groups, or checking out wrecking yards. This forum moves very slowly nowadays, and very few of us have automatic 2WD examples.

Cheers to many more years of the legacycentral bbs! Hard to believe I’ve been here for nearly 15 of those years… the existence of this site is a godsend to everyone who loves these old Subies and I can’t thank y’all enough for keeping it up and running.

Intermittent CEL and unusual radio illumination behavior

I'm wondering if I have a grounding issue on my 91 SS. When I hit the brakes with the headlights off, the illumination on my radio (stock headunit) dims briefly, and then comes back to normal brightness. If I'm on the brakes and I have a turn signal flashing, the brightness of the radio flashes in t...

Very nice! Sounds like a good plan. Be sure to post updates as you make progress!

Also, if you happen to part out your other 91 when you retire it, I'm interested in the front bumper and perhaps other bits ;-)

Absolutely mint! I wish my 91 was this clean... although if it was, maybe I'd be more hesitant to modify it! Nice job finding this one. How much did you end up paying if you don't mind me asking?

Very nice looking wagon, RazorRoks. Interesting to see the post-facelift front bumper on a pre-facelift car.

I follow you on Instagram, too. Love the manual-swapped touring wagon! Hoping to do that to mine at some point, but maybe with a dual range from overseas.

Always glad to see another 91 Pearl White SS. Nice save! Keep the posts coming, I'd love to follow the progress of your build. Sounds like a bigger turbo, intercooler, and a manual swap are in the works, yes?

Check that you’re getting power to the injectors and that you’re getting spark. Is the fuel pump priming?
