how much for the turbo

so driving on the hi way doin about a 100-110km all a sudden i get a shudder power light comes on and rpm jumps about 1000 let of gas pedal goes away ....just had tranny rebuilt so wtf ...and yes im bringing it back but the tranny seems fine city driving no problems

oh its a 93 legacy turbo awd

2400 bucks not bad got quotes all the way up to 3800....got told hes very busy so if he had to do it right away 3200 but since it was slow and i waited 2447 with tax

rebuild the tranny or swap the engine and tranny with jdm depending on costs of course my engine has 245000km so....?????

looking at doin a engine and tranny swap jdm ej20t 5spd tranny into 1993 turbo legacy wagon auto what parts would be needed?

so if the tranny takes longer to shift would it cause slipping...or what may seem to be slipping . and talked with the mechanic he said he never did a flush just drain and fill??????

also could it be the torque converter?

so i probably got the wrong flush.when i brought back to them told him it was slipping he said he added the lucas tranny conditioner no improvement what so ever.....i visably never seen them put it in so now what?????do i add more ,add diffrent stuff .or start looking for a tranny shop :? .............

I just had the Tranny flushed and that's when the slipping began.

does it affect trannys causing slipping......also brake pedal wont depress at times i talking -20 to -40 temperatures also just had a tranny flush seems 2 slip in second and third

im very new to subarus ......well on my way home i started smelling a wierd burning smell pulled over looked under the hood and noticed the compressor thingy next to the altenator was molten red hot its on the right side of the altenator what is this piece called
