Some Leftovers & Tires

Hey guys, I sold my wagon and have a couple things leftover. I'd really rather not ship, so pick-up only. I will be in Bellevue through the weekend, then I'll be back in Bellingham. I can drop off on my way north if needed. Rear cargo cover: http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz212/snowolf2/IMG_1527...

93 Wagon

Ok, so still selling my 5spd 93 Legacy L wagon. Its got 170,xxxmi on it and has always been more reliable than a gun in a knife fight. However, I believe it will need a new head gasket because it tends to overheat on the freeway without the heat on full. The water pump, thermostat, all belts, and ti...

I saw that too. Interesting idea. I think I'd need to see more pictures or see it in person to pass my judgment though.

I realize $2000 is an unlikely price for this to be sold at, so if anyone has any interest in this wagon send me an offer!

I'd love to see it become good-as-new, but its my parents car, so my parents decision. They just want a newer subaru. I know this one has plenty of life in it as the engine still runs awesome.

Also forgot to mention that the rear speakers have been replaced with Pioneers, and the Deck is also a Pioneer CD/MP3 player

Sell/Trade the 93 Legacy wagon

So my parents have a silver, 5spd, 93 N/A legacy wagon that I've been using for the past 5 years. Its got just shy of 170,000mi and has its share of history. We are looking to replace it with another newer used legacy with low miles (ideally less than 130,000mi). The grill is missing, and the front ...

Amen to that Redlined!!! People in the PNW somehow forget that rainy weather is the norm, and freakout at the first drop after our brief summer.

I love having snow in the city. It kills me to hear of everywhere getting snow, while I still have nasty wet rain.

How does the button come off? Is it as simple as just unscrewing it, or is there something else to it? Mine just broke so I can't just mess around with mine to find out...

So is that what makes the car sound like a lawnmower? The ticking noise for a few min while warming up?

I havn't found any coolant leaks or cracks in the coolant tank. I am hoping this won't be a recurring issue like beatersubie, I'd rather just get a shiny new radiator.

If you get hit by a car that is going 35mph, its gonna hurt bad whether the bumper is made of sawblades, or a smooth rounded sheet of metal. The saftey laws are complete b.s. Just make it look good!!!

Overheating problems... blah

After driving for quite a bit my NA 93 leggy starts overheating a bit. The needle never gets to the top, only about 75%/80% there. If I turn the heat on full blast is slowly goes back towards the middle. Usually takes about 5-10min on the freeway before overheating, and hardly ever happens in city d...

Yeah, its when I turn on the defroster. I checked the coolant and it was VERY low to my surprise, since it was supposedly filled just 3mo ago... Anyways, its full now, so I'll see if the problem continues.

165,000mi... not sure when the last time the radiator was replaced. I'll check the coolant level today, though I am pretty sure it was filled just 3mo ago.

overheating issue...

My 93 NA Leggy runs a bit hot after driving for a while. If I turn the heat on full blast, the needle moves back to the middle. But summer is coming and driving with the heat on will not be fun... how do I fix this?
