Wow, I am experiencing the exact same thing. I Didnt think I would ever find any reference to my current issue. i have a 92 legacy turbo 5-speed.

This started happening about a week ago, I sorta ignored it, figured it had something to do with the cold (its -30 Celcius here lately).

I have been looking for this intercooler for some time now. I see them on eBay every once and a while but they go for so expensive. This group buy is a great idea, and I will buy one for sure (maybe two, depending on shipping).

Just thought I'd add this. I was thinking it could be the actual switch (lever on steering wheel). But all of the interior display lights up when the low beams should be on.

I dont know. I have a Haynes manual (woohoo), Ill check in there and see If it says or not.

This I don't know absolute certainty. The fisrt letter of the VIN is a J so it was manufactured in Japan. But I'm pretty sure any car sold in Canada (in 1992) must have daytime running lights. It wasn't always like this, but it has for been for a while.

A few weeks ago I noticed my headlights were dim at night. After inspection I noticed my low-beams were not turning on. When I turn my lights on they are the same intensity as my daytime running lights. My daytime running lights work properly, as well as my high beams.
