As long as it's in decent running condition you shouldn't have any issues. Plenty of people race them.

My best advice would be to do research, read around on here, find out what is the best route for YOU, don't let us tell you what the best mods are. Otherwise you'll end up dropping a bunch of money on parts you may not need or want, like I did with my e30. There's some quick minivans out there by th...

If it's a track car then no it doesn't matter one bit.

If it's a daily driven car, then I have to at least be able to stand to look at it or I'm not gonna buy it.

If you do the STI muffler and a 3" downpipe, you'll be really happy.
Haha well I have one of those too, and I might.

I've never been a fan of fake dual tip exhausts. I don't even like the stock SS exhaust. But it's up to you, whatever you like best. I'd at least get some sort of tip though, the issue people have with tips is when you put them on a stock exhaust, not when you put them on a universal like that, it's...

Cool thanks! What about 04 struts and springs. I can get a set of those aswell for dirt cheap! I can basically get any Subaru part i wish. Considering i work at the local dealer. Aswell i know many people that have wrx's and sti's. So in saying that im mainly looking for the cheapest budget suspens...

Stock STi exhaust

Hate to ask this, I know it's been covered at some point, but I've been searching for the past 30 minutes and I haven't actually found an answer to my question. Will a stock STi catback be louder than a stock 91 SS? I have one I can get for free, and get modified for free, but if it's not gonna be l...

WTB: 90-91 grille and maybe rear filler panel.

I'm looking to buy a grille for a 91, I guess it'd be the Turbo grille, I don't want the plastic mesh one since I'm gonna cut the middle out and that would be a pain in the ass. Also if the price is right, I'm looking for the plastic filler panel that goes on the trunk lid between the tail lights, t...

07 STi won't fit. Trust me, I had some my friend was gonna give me :( But 05 or older will, I just put 04 on the front of mine that my friend gave me, the rear is floating around in someone's garage.

Not sure about GC fitment though, never looked into it.

There's varying levels of prep you could use. I'm gonna do mine and I'll probably just wetsand and smooth down everything, prime and paint. I sprayed my last set with aircraft stripper, stripped it down to bare metal, primed and painted, and it didn't hold up any better than just sanding and painting.

You need more info, spring rates, how much it lowers, how much adjustment there is, etc. Personally if I were to choose cheap coilovers (which I wouldn't) I'd go with Megan Racing. Seems to be good reviews from them. if i were going to go cheap i would just slap a ground control kit on some AGXs. t...

I don't know how much you know about the subject, but look into the STi turbo a bit before you do it, I hear there's boost creep issues, but it may be something easy to fix also, I don't know much about it.

It's ok guys. Think of these pictures as the types of pictures you'd see in Sex Ed. back in high school. Once you see a picture of a penis with gonorrhea, you'll do anything in your power to protect yours from getting it. Apply that lesson to your car. Now that you've seen these pictures, do anythi...

Ew god no. I saw a picture on RSliberty, I think it was a joke, and it looked ridiculous. It's the complete wrong body style for it. Honestly I'm not sure it even fits on the STi, but I've been conditioned to like it on there. WRX wing maybe, but I highly doubt it. post the pic if you can please. i...

They're talking about electrical tape. I'm talking about plastic tape, that's what it says on it, I know they have it at Ace, not sure about other places. I find it sticks better than electrical tape, plus you don't have to admit that you used electrical tape, haha.

I just did all of the side and bumper trim and tail lights with the 3M plastic tape. It looks amazing, and was super easy, line up the top, run a knife on the bottom to trim, but be careful not to let the knife get out of the ridge, and don't press too hard. Turns out it's $2.99 for the thin roll, $...

The 3m stuff works great. It's like $1.99 a roll, "Plastic Tape" I blacked out the trim on my BMW with paint and I couldn't keep it from chipping so I just taped it, the 3M tape lasted me over a year without any bubbles or peeling or anything. It has to be on a straight surface though, so ...
