Is the key code stamped anywhere?

My key for my 94 SS broke today. It's not the original key, nor do I have the original key, so I don't have the key code. I'm attempting to get it by VIN but I don't think it was entered. I know on the older EA powered cars it was stamped on the passenger side lock actuator arm; I am hoping it is st...

I have some EJ20R coils and head covers. Doesn't look like they'll fit at all to me.

Re: Engine Head Rebuild Parts List?

It's probably going to be a lot easier and way cheaper to find some decent used heads and slap those on, unless you have a specific thing in mind like oversized valves , or you have some donor heads for parts already.

Re: WTB alternator

Got an alternator.

If anyone happens to have the alternator section of the harness from a car with the 2-prong plug like a WRX I'd love to buy it. I'm sure I can find it locally at a junkyard but I am leaving the country for several weeks. Thanks.

Re: 3" downpipe to Stock exhaust?

It is perfectly common on later cars to run a 3" DP into the stock midpipe and muffler. I run that and a Cobb Stage 2 map on my STI. The major restriction is the downpipe. If my 2.5L with a bigger turbo doesn't need more than that, I'm sure it'll be more than enough on a Legacy unless you've go...

i won a street race against a 2004 hyundai tiburon and hit 125 mph at 5000 rpm, not bad for a car with 247600 miles on it and racing about five miles. im really proud of my car and my second win racing Was it in a school zone? Re: 1991 Legacy SS Sunroof in Portland, OR

If you part it out, I am interested in the popup deflector assembly if it still has one. Do you mean the mechanism that makes it pop up at angle, or something else? The deflector at the front of the sunroof that pops up when the sunroof opens. It has two little lever arms, almost like mini leaf spr...

Re: EJ20G "RobTune" Info

So if I'm following this correctly, you're looking into modifying the EJ22T ECU so you can put your tune on it, and if that runs into snags then the options is to wire the car to run an EJ20G ECU?

Re: EJ20G "RobTune" Info

That sounds right to me. People with TD04s or VF8s or similar would most likely be on gray tops and people with TD05s or VF39s would be on yellow tops, so those 2 options would cover a lot of bases. This would be a great choice for people with stock heads that don't want to mess with too much wiring...

I'm interested in the axle. Any idea how much it weighs? Shipping would be to 80120. If it's not ridiculous to ship, let's work out a price. Thanks.

Curious to know which pump and exchanger you got, and where you got them if you don't mind. I've got an AWIC core and I'm debating whether or not to go that route when I do my head swap.

Re: How to get rid of the yellowed headlights

I used the 3M kit yesterday on the 91. I did the headlights and the blinker covers (these are easy since you can just unscrew them and set them on the floor). Did an awesome job. Probably took me an hour and a half. Take your time and do some extra sanding on each step and you'll be rewarded. I didn...

If someone was capable of doing so,the mapping on mikes chips could be "stolen" purely for the purpose of having a starting point to build on.That would be honest enough in my opinion, not that any tune is really intellectual property anyways, these are just numbers that perform a task. Exa...

Are you running that exhaust and turbo right now without any EM or injectors or anything? I would turn the boost down and baby it, but that's just me.

Oh sorry... I forgot to post up. I have a passenger side fender. It's got a decent sized ding in but I think you could pop it out without too much work. It's silver, pretty sure it's the pewter silver metallic, color code 944. Not sure if it would be worth shipping though? I'm in in 80120.
