The only part I wasn't crazy about is the flat black. Hope it finds a good home.

Ahhhhhhhhh okay I totally understand what you are saying now. At first I thought you meant to remove the wires from the connectors... anyways, I get it now. That doesn't sound too hard. If I get there early (an hour before the auction) and go to this car right away, I may be able to jump it without ...

Yeah I really wish i could get a key cut at the dealership before the auction. I know there are good reasons to not cut the key for me, but at least this way the new owner (whether it's me or someone else) could have a key for the car when they buy it. I wonder if i could have the GM of the tow yard...

Sorry you went to all that trouble with the wiring diagram, I can't bring my own battery :( I did bring a backpack full of tools once and they told me not to do that anymore. They don't allow jumpboxes either. I figured that if I could get the steering column off and start it with a screwdriver, the...

starting a 1995 Impreza without a key?
Okay so I know how this question may seem on the surface, but I have a legitimate reason behind it. If the mods see fit, I understand if this gets locked. I figure the fact that I have a post count already will indicate I am not trying anything shady. I am going to an auction on Monday to look at a ...

This looks like an opportune time to re-start the age old augment… The pre-face rear is much better looking that the post-face. PRE-FACE RULES :P Gary Not to reopen the alleged can of worms... but I don't know what pre-face or post-face means. Did Subaru so some kind of appearance facelift in the m...

the Legend booty looks like an old maxima or Legend
I noticed this this other day, the Legacy Sedan tail lamps look like old Acura Legend tails). The Legend definitely looks more dated, but it's the same overall design. I have shown the 87-88 Legend, followed by the 89-90 Legend. Then I also noticed that the Legend also looks kinda like the early 90'...

Well, that didn't take long. I just added a body kit, wheels, canards (see close up), and different corner lamps. I can't figure out how to paint the car a custom color :( But I know it can be done, I have done it before. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c64/fuzzysquirrelboy/PICT2834.jpg http://i25...

Legacy SS/TW in a video game
I found this the other day... our beloved turbo Legacy is in the video game Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift 2 for Playstation2. As usual, the specs appear to be for the JDM models. i am impressed that they included the wagon. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c64/fuzzysquirrelboy/PICT2831.jpg http://i25.p...

Head Gasket -- Phase I engines, or just Phase II?
As i am continuing to learn about the Legacy, I am intrigued by the 1997-99 GT, particularly with the avilable 5-speed. But i have read some things about the head gasket problems that these engines are known for. http://www.subaruheadgasket.com/vehicleyear.htm If I understand it correctly, a 1997-19...

I would change the escort GT to an escort cosworth, then your in buisness. I want this car and thats about it lol. http://hem.passagen.se/hemipanter/ Yeah but the Cosworth is not realistic. They didn't import them here. The random cars I refer to are the ones I actually see on the road every once in...

random cars you always wanted
Okay so I am really A.D.D. when it comes to cars. I bounce all over the place wanting this car, then that one, then a few more, then back to one of the early ones. I rarely act on these desires, but usually I at least find out a crap-ton about the car so that I feel informed enough about them if i e...
