I use Extra-S, the stuff is really good:
I've used:
-Redline MT90/Lightweight Shockproof Mix
-Royal Purple Gear Max 75W90
-Valvaline Synpower
None of those were exactly very good, except the redline mix, but it's better to use the currently OEM stuff that subaru uses.

I wish someone made a cheap N/A header for the 2.2L. You can buy decent quality stainless headers for a honda civic for under a $150. None to be found that cheap for a Subie..
