Re: Walbro 255 Fuel pump

That Hydramat looks pretty cool!! Thanks for sharing! No problem Josh. Great product. How did you get around the stock internal baffle in the 97 Legacy install of your Hydramat? I don't remember having any issues installing the mat into the tank. I didn't even realize it was baffled. Only awkward d...

Re: Walbro 255 Fuel pump

I know this is an old thread, but it's a bump on topic at least. I ordered the "Walbro GSS341 Fuel Pump" and "Walbro 400-791 Fuel Pump Installation Kit" from Amazon to install into my 1991 Legacy SS to prepare for an autocross that's coming up soon. I'm feeling some stuttering wh...

Re: rallyak car's and journeys

... I ordered a new Subaru helical front diff and now waiting for it to come from Japan. I wasn't aware Subaru made a front LSD for the 5 speed. Can you share with me a link for it? I would love to learn more about it. I've been looking for one of those OBX diffs, but they are discontinued and not ...

That car is gorgeous. It amazes me when I see unique and nice restored cars like this come out of hiding in Alaska.

Quite the project you're undertaking. I'm sure I have that headlight harness. I'll check my parts cars this weekend and snip it off for you. What's your plan for the RobTune? I'd be interested in it if you're planning on selling it. I'll drop you a line on Messenger about that and to get your address.

Well right on. It sounds like you have everything handled just how you want it. There is really good money in road construction up here. I hope you do well, and it affords you more time with your family in the off season.

Very Nice! Are you going into business for yourself doing the body and paint, or is the career change something else? There are quite a few local Alaska car clubs on Facebook. If you want some more word of mouth advertising for your skills, you could join up. Here's one I am an admin for. Click join...

That's a good work around. Those bearings look so much nicer to deal with than the 5x100 style.

Re: Legacy Turns 25! (Now Includes Part II)

I caught that and commented on the article about the 4EAT and 5-speed being available. I guess he doesn't want to revise it. It was a good read, for sure, but with that statement about them 5-speed only, I now question the absolute validity of some of the other statements.

Re: rallyak car's and journeys

Sorry to hear about the persistent AFR issue. Sounds like you're tracking it down correctly though. If I drive down to Anchorage later this month, I'll give you a shout. If those struts are still available, and you want them, I could pick them up on my way through. I you don't want them, I may pick ...

Amazing that a little temp sensor would have that kind of effect. Hopefully your MPG does increase. You said you needed struts, there a guy selling a new full set of KYBs in Healy right now if you're looking. I think they're for a 2nd gen, but it could be a good deal, especially if you talk them dow...

Ugh... that poor car. I hope you get tipped well for each one of those bags. Car looks good though, I know all too well about how long the "clean" lasts in Alaska. The weather has been weird this year up here in Fairbanks too. Not complaining though, it's been unseasonably warm. :) Happy H...

Re: front seats

I believe the seat belt light connector is the same. You will have to change the female end of the seat belt with the one that matched the male end. I know I had to drill out a large rivet and enlarge a hole to make it bolt on, but it's not too hard with some simple tools. Once you look at the two s...
