EJ22T times?
I can't provide you with 1/4 mile times, but my best 0-60 was something like 6-7 seconds. It's a hurtin unit right now though, with some valve noise coming from the right bank of cylinders. Not sure what it is yet, but should have a better idea after a compression check. (It's too cold out there for...
Fuel cut defeat
I've gone a step further and T'ed off the same place but I've used a PRV with the spring set to 10 psi. That way the A/F map for positive pressures can still be used by the ECU. I am also running too rich above that (.85 to .95vdc). I did hit the fuel cut once while experimenting at 20 psi because o...

Intake temperatures
I've used K type thermocouple extension wire to a millivolt meter and then converted using the Omega temperature tables. The following is what I get, although I wonder at the accuracy a bit. Regular running around town I have approx. 35 degrees F (0.0 mvdc); at WOT with 14 psi boost for 15 secs. I g...

Fuel pump problem resolved
I benched tested the pump and it ran ... I put it back in the tank and the car fired right up. I tried another start and no go. Tried again and again... no go. I installed a jumper across the relay contacts to keep the pump on while I scoot back and check for 12vdc at the connector. It was there. I ...

Found it, thanks.
Ok,
I found the access cover and have successfully removed the fuel pump, sender assembly. No need to yank the tank.
Next step is to find a suitable replacement that doesn't cost $400 and change. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until Monday though.
Thanks for the replies lads!

Fuel Pump dead, full tank of gas ... Help!
I've just confirmed my fuel pump is dead. Yep, I read all the related topics but I am convinced the pump is toast. Big problem though, I tried to siphon out all the gas (which I just filled) and there seems to be something to prevent the hose going in all the way. Anybody run into this? How did you ...

Hey, what an interesting topic. I brought this up at work to all the car buffs and they were really scratching their heads! Great fun. Ok, seems we are getting some place here though. No, there isn't a two cylinder setting on the controller :-) We'll be using 4. I checked out the wires going to the ...

:) Thanks vrg3. I'll check those wires out tomorrow and let you guys know how things went. What did you think about using the diodes off the two wires going to the primary of the coils ie. anode of one diode to primary of one wire and another diode anode connected to the other wire. Then solder the ...

H2O inj
Makes sense alright. The only other option might be to use a tach signal but it would have to be amplified to near 12vdc I suspect. I thought maybe on using a couple of diodes off of the two wires feeding the primary windings capturing the positive pulses, but I guess it will still be only half the ...

Ideas anyone?
:( Hmmm. Well, I guess some experimenting is required. I've measured the dc volts at each of the 3 wires on the ignition primary and it's 12vdc at each. Unfortunately, my meter doesn't have the frequency feature on it but there is of course an AC component proportional to the firing of certain cylin...

Water Injecting the EJ22T
I have just stumbled across a complete Edelbrock Vara-Jection model 9356 kit for practically free. It's an older electronically controlled system that uses vacuum/boost and engine RPM via the coil. Because the kit was designed for older vintage USA cars I'n not too sure about the coil connection. Pi...
Works for me...
This is all well and fine and works just great for me and everyone else, but the big question is... how much boost has been found to be safe with no additional fuel management. Has anyone seen any bad numbers (EGT or A/F) above 13 psi? I've yet to install any EGT indication but it's on the list.

Good one...
Legazee that's pretty darned creative. It was only a few days ago I wondered about eliminating that air box but saw that a straight pipe ain't gonna cut it. I guess I'll be out sourcing something similiar. Right now all I've been using is alot of ABS plumbing to and from the IC and although it works...

EGT
Nope, I haven't any indication for EGT yet. Where is it? Any ideas on how I can make it run richer besides ECU tuning? I've bypassed the solenoid for boost control completely. I had just capped the ports and gone with a makeshift manual boost control using an adjustable relief valve (poppet style). ...

O2 Sensor voltage readings everywhere!
Hi all. I have a 92 Legacy turbo and decided to get some readings off my O2 sensor today to get an idea of my A/F ratios. After warming it up for 15 minutes I took it for a spin and kept an eye on my meter. I was astounded after seeing basically the whole range from 0-1v almost. At no load ie. coast...
