in the last 3 or 4 weeks my shifter has slipped off the rubber piece it slids onto a couple times. easy enough to slide back on with a little push, but troublesome none the less. replaced the IAC this last weekend. pretty much narrowwed down to throttle body.


Coating? I know nothing of coating, but was very careful cleaning and used proper product so as to not make things worse. and it helped, just not enough.

Would it matter if the throttle body came off an auto trans car or a manual trans?
IE: can I put one off of an auto onto my MT car with no issues? I know the IAC's are different, but not sure on the Throttle Body.
