Re: Parting '91 L wagon, Wa

shipping cost is a problem with the big stuff. unfortunately. guess i'll just have to find them local.
switch i could still go for.
and maybe the speaker covers if they're not cracked or beat up. otherwise get them later.

Re: Parting '91 L wagon, Wa

I could really use some interior door panels. mostly front drivers side but both front speaker covers. don't know how much shipping to boise would be on them though. size of door panels and all. also window switch assembly [all the buttons] on that front driver side. mount...

Shifter

in the last 3 or 4 weeks my shifter has slipped off the rubber piece it slids onto a couple times. easy enough to slide back on with a little push, but troublesome none the less. I don't see any sort of set screww or anything. so how can I keep this from being an issue in the future. Don't wannt glu...

interior door panels

the door panels on my subbie have seen better days. I know that I'll eventually have to replace or refurbish them, but out of curiosity, what different years can a guy get to fit into a 90? that is without an unreasonable amount of hacking.

okay, so possible air pocket. I'll start there. a stuck thermostat just seems like it would have left things hotter. (has on other rigs in the past) I didn't add much either time, like the overflow resivoir was half way between full and min. heater was on, this last time at least. the code I'll have...

replaced the IAC this last weekend. pretty much narrowwed down to throttle body.

Coating? I know nothing of coating, but was very careful cleaning and used proper product so as to not make things worse. and it helped, just not enough.

Throttle Body Question

Would it matter if the throttle body came off an auto trans car or a manual trans?
IE: can I put one off of an auto onto my MT car with no issues? I know the IAC's are different, but not sure on the Throttle Body.

Need a throttle body on the cheap

Hey all, I got a 1990 with a bad throttle body. Cleaning it helps, but only temporarilly. Money is an issue and I'm looking for a good used throttle body. Some are listed on ebay, but I don't know if there's any difference in MT vs Auto throttle bodies. Help me get my subbie back to prime running co...
