Well here is my story I have a 90 subaru leg2.2 na motor it had 325 thou miles in it it was wore out so I took the block I had. Put all my parts from my engine used the heads and water pump from old motor. when I got it done it would not run I found out it was timing so. I got new timing belt got it...

i get 28 to 30 it is a 90 n/a with just a few mods

mine has 300 k plus still running good after new heads and timing belt

miine had that problem it was the cruise control computer i replaced it and all fixed the light would come on but go off when i let off

well thanks for the info it was the timing it was a tooth off on passenger head all fixed runing very good now

it started after i had a timing belt slip it is 1 cyl not firing at all i am worried it is bent valve got i hope not ill check compression soon

I have a 90 legacy with a 92 motor n/a in it I have a miss at idle but runs good above 2000 rpm. I have checked all the sensors i have tried changing the plugs wires and even the injectors it is only happening on the passgeer side head but i am at wits end with it
