Re: 1993 Legacy Touring (in Southern Vermont) $1100

Car is also listed in local Craigslist ads. Hoping to find a buyer this weekend, and at least one interested person so far.

Re: 1993 Legacy Touring (in Southern Vermont)

Oh, a picture might be helpful. This is from last winter, before the new winter tires and the car is a bit dirty.

1993 Legacy Touring (in Southern Vermont) $1100

The car is kinda rough right now. 139k on the odometer, all original drivetrain as far as I know. 2.2 turbo engine and automatic transmission of course. It was previously a Colorado car, so it has minimal rust -- it's only starting to bubble on the trailing edge of the rear wheel opening on one side...

Hey now! That's encouraging -- any part number or by some chance do you remember the seller's name?

No experience with that unit but I love how simple it looks, no stupid displays or blinking lights. Looks like it could be stock. That's the appeal it holds for me. Now that I look around a bit more, I see that the original unit is a actually a 1.5-DIN. I wonder if that means a lot more work or what.

opinions on Panasonic head unit

Hey all. I was searching for a while to find a 90-91 Panasonic unit with the line input on the face to replace the one in my '93. Used ones were all kind of pricey when I found them at all, and I had questions about whether they needed to be adapted to the harness (not a real big problem, but still)...

I've been to Morgantown a couple times, as recently as last winter. I might be able to figure something out.

Also, I now need a rear muffler. New OEM units don't seem to be widely available...

WTB - my '93 burgundy turbo wagon wish list

Got myself a Legacy turbo after driving non-turbo wagons for several winters. It needs a little love though. So far I seem to need: Rear muffler -- mine has broken at its inlet. Driver's side sun visor. Hood, radiator support, grill and passenger side headlight. I'd like the hood at least to be the ...

Well, I do need a grill, headlight and core support too. I should just look for someone parting out a '92+.

Should I assume the front edge will be different than a '92-94 hood? Mine (burgundy, paint code 218?) is tweaked.
