As I understand it, there are two types of MAFS for our cars, the metal kind and the plastic kind. I have the metal kind, and mine is crapping out on me. Anyone have a working one laying around?

Haha I know, but I would much rather pay one of you for the parts, and personally I think they charge a huge premium for what they sell. Also, I hate paying sales tax on car parts.

I need to start amassing parts for my swap, I need:

-Manual driveshaft
-Manual cradle assembly (with manual transmission mount)
-Clutch slave & master, clutch line
-Shifter linkage assembly (going on a transmission from a 2006 n/a impreza)

Thanks! My biggest issue was that I didn't want to have to relocate the battery to the trunk, that wire is expensive!! I went through four cutting disks on my angle grinder and 3 sawzall blades for the whole thing haha.

Back again with no luck. -We believe that its computer related, it isnt getting spark. Plugs are new, wires are good, coil is good. -Its doing the exact same thing that my 92 ss did when I had sensor issues, crank but not start. -Tried spraying starter fluid down the throttle, no luck. -Spark plugs ...

Okay, i'll be heading back down to town tomorrow and i'll check a few things:

1. Try to induce a start by spraying cleaner down the throttle
2. Swap the CTS
3. Swap the MAF
4. Swap the TPS and IACV

and...hopefully something fixes it.
