Re: Strange noise from turbo
When i was home 6 months ago, my friend had a newer 08 WRX and just installed his uppipe. He called me up because it was making a crazy sound very similar to what your describing. The flange on his uppipe to turbo was slightly warped, and would begin to leak out air and made a crazy weird noise like ...

Hmmm, maybe take out the 02 sensor and try running her to give her a lil more breathing room.
Have you tried checking the engine computer for codes?

I would grab a DMM and test your water temp sensor and go from there. The likelyhood of it being the injectors or PCM is not very high.

Re: WTB: Grey top EJ20g injectors
If you are truely desperate for a set of Grey Top 440's, i have a spare set. One injector is cracked, but does not affect performance. I would not install these without having them checked out and cleaned, and i would repair the one injector. Let me know if this is something youd want. I would offer...

Re: Legacy sport starting issues!
After some more discussing with some local car guys, i really think its the idle air control valve. About, 30-40% of the time, the car will have a very high idle when driving. (If i am in first and go to shift into second at 3000 RPMS, the engine stays at that RPM and sometimes will slowly, slowly c...

Re: Install Apexi AVCR
Another quick question (maybe not so quick) I installed the AVCR this morning. Should i have left the factory subaru boost sensor there? I removed it completly and now am using just the apexi. I have it set up as show in the manual, but the car wont build more than 4 PSI in any gear. When it hits 4 ...

Re: AVCR, Wideband, Exhaust, steering wheel, GPS
3 inch exhaust, catless, stainless steel. Unknown brand, very well built.
100$ is the price of shipping, so add that to the price of the exhaust and we've got a deal.

Re: Install Apexi AVCR
Apologies for being a newb, but with the purple wire, if i use this to monitor injector duty cycle instead of RPM, will that hinder the AVCR's ability to control boost? Or is this wire just used for monitoring?

Re: engine tunning options? / data loging, Im Lost
Data logging A/F ratios is easy with widebands. I have a Innovate LM-1 for sale, if interested. Also have a apexi avcr boost controller that allows you to monitor injector duty cycle.

Re: Ej25 AC removal?
My power steering pump makes a noise like that due to always being low. If you do take the ac out, theres one belt that goes to the compresser that you can take off. I took the ac out of my car cause I don't use it and there was no charge in the system. If you're gonna take it out you should have t...
