Hey guys! Super long time, no talk! i've been busy with this, that, the other, school, work, etc...

Anyways... I was driving down the road one day and i saw a 99 impreza outback wagon for sale.... so i stopped off and bought it.

The question that I have is, what should i do with my 1990 Legacy LS ...

As long as that will work. I believe my friend was using the manual. Also, I would assume that he would be capable of taking the tank out since he was then a motorcycle mechanic, and now an airplane mechanic.

If it can be done with a Haynes manual, then I guess I will just get under there myself ...

Thanks Art... If I were you I would have the CD changer replaced ASAP! I was having the same problem with the HVAC and CD screens blinking on and off. This was also accompanied by the stereo changing the volume and the HVAC changing the temp on their own, and putting out weird sounds at times.

My mom has had her 2005 Legacy 2.5i Limited for, I guess a year and a half now... so far, it has had replaced under warranty: 1 rear wheel bearing, she is on her 3rd 6-disc CD player/Dual Zone HVAC control unit (the CD/Radio and HVAC controls are one piece :?), and now the car seems to be eating ...

Well, summer will be here before I know it, and I would like to replace the refrigerant and oil...
Should I flush the lines out with anything?? I don't have access to compressed air. What about pulling a vacuum? I'm certain that there are no leaks in the system...

Question is... Why did the connector burn up, and will it happend again? What do you think Vikash? Could a pump that seizes up or something cause that?

Welp... I think I found the problem... Looks like the fuel pump power supply connector in the tank was burned up...

Is there any way to fix that? Or will I need a whole need a new connector, which will probably mean a whole new fuel ...

Yeah... I dont know what to do... My friend's 91 Legacy won't start, and it has NO fuel pressure... I can crank the engine over and over and it has zero fuel pressure. No fuel pump sound with or without the test connectors plugged in. I fear that this will be a difficult job for me seeing as I am ...

I might be interested in the t-belt pulley set as long as they rotate without any noise or anything... and if they have less than 10k miles on them, then i would assume that they are fine...
