Yes, I'm familiar with the Robtune ECU, I just wanted to know if I could run this combo temporarily without harming the engine. I'd like to pick up one of Rob's ECUs before Christmas, but until then I was hoping I could run this combo safely.
Thank you.

Is EMS needed for 440cc injectors and
I would like to know if I can run these injectors and MAF together without an EMS/piggyback temporarily and safely on an EJ22t. I was told the injectors are gray top 440cc's, and the MAF is a JECS/AUTECS MAF. Here are the injectors: http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa340/hellosubaru/GL/EJ22t%20Re...

Are 22e pistons the same as 22t pistons?
I searched around a little, but couldn't find anything. Are EJ22e pistons the same as EJ22t pistons? If they aren't, can you use 22e pistons in a 22t?
Thanks,
-Jason

Re: Transmission ID?
The problem is I'm not real sure what it came from. I was told it came from some JDM 2.5RS, but I don't know if that's true or not.PhyrraM wrote:If it's from a USDM Legacy it's an open front diff.

Re: Transmission ID?
Awesome, thanks. I've seen a lot of people reference this Hollander interchange before. What is it, and can I get a copy of it somewhere?
Also, does it say anything about if it is open vs LSD?

Transmission ID?
I've been trying to ID a transmission that I picked up, but haven't been able to find anything about it. The trans code is: 3V-TY752VA2AA. I've looked on http://spda-online.ca/modules/tinycontent/rewrite/tc_28.html and http://www.northursalia.com/techdocs/trannychart/trannychart.pdf, but they don't ...

Re: ECU/Piggyback, Injector, and MAF questions
Is the black JECS MAF sensor an aftermarket piece, or is it a MAF from another Subaru? If it's aftermarket, where can I get one? Is the robtuned ECU plug and play, or is wiring involved? I'm assuming I plug the EJ20 robtuned ECU, and not use a EJ22t robtuned ECU correct? It sounded like rob hadn't g...

ECU/Piggyback, Injector, and MAF questions
Hi, I'm hoping someone can explain some tuning paths and terms to me. I've been searching and reading for the past few days about engine management, injectors, and MAFs, but it's still a bit fuzzy to me. I am currently running an EJ22t motor with the stock turbo (VF11?) turbo. I have been slowly col...

If you have the MAF and MAP/pressure sensor, I'll take them.

Re: EJ22 to EJ22T wiring problems
Sorry for the late reply, got busy with the holidays. Anyway, as Josh stated, it was how the main and FP relays were wired. I had the relays wired to come on with switched +12v, instead of through the ECU. Once I wired the relays correctly to the ECU, bam, it runs.
Thanks all.

Re: EJ22 to EJ22T wiring problems
Thanks for the reply. I swapped all three cam/crank pins, instead of swapping just the positives. Would that be the issue? I searched and found a few threads, but the cars were able to start for some amount of time, I can't even get the CEL to turn on, or FP to click. It's like the turbo ECU is pinn...

EJ22 to EJ22T wiring problems
Short version: When I hook up the NA ECU with the harness pinned as NA, the car will start and run for 10-15 seconds. When I hook up the turbo ECU with the harness pinned as turbo, I get nothing. Any ideas? Long version: I got a '92 Legacy for free, because it had a bad tranny in it, so I figured I ...

WTB: 91-94 EJ22T ECU
I picked up an ECU a few months ago. Just plugged it in this weekend to find out it's bad, so I need to get another one.
Let me know if you have one.
Thanks!
