Re: Anyone in Denver That Can Wrench???

So I have been trying to diagnose a wierd idling issue with the car and it seems that the keway on the crankshaft chewed up my crank pulley... The keyway is damaged as well have you seen this issue or tried to fix one in the past?

Re: Harmonic Tensioner?!?! Please Help

Ya Ive been reading up on the spec to tighten it to... One of the more used service manuals says 90ft lbs when from what ive read, its around 130 lbs. My best guess is the previous owner (who did the timing belt himself) was using the service manual that said 90 ft lbs... Ive been running the car wi...

The car has 161k and is stock besides a wrx intercooler, and custom axel back exhaust. I have a TD04 which I want to swap but am fairly clueless/ do ...

So last night, someone on the highway near denver was nice enough to pull a pit maneuver on me and run from the scene of the accident... Long story short I have a dent to pop back out and a tail light to replace. I was going to go to a junk yard tomorrow to look for one because they are $60 on ebay....

Re: Brakes not working in cold

Thanks for all the quick replys... Basically when I hit the brakes, they go stiff and the pedal does not go down as far as it should.. But once the car is warm its fine. I think I may just flush my system and get some new pads and see if that works...

Honing wheels to fit

So I just bought some new 15 inch 5 spokes that I found at a junk yard. Me being exited about how they looked and the fact that they were 5x100 and not suby stock rims i neglected to check it the center ring mount of the wheel would clear. Unfortunately there is a small lip and therefore a clearance...

Re: Looking to lower my SS soon

Im trying to do it on as much of a budget as possible... I think ill probably end up tracking down those gr2 struts on craigslist or something and then look into springs... Im definitely not trying to slam it cause I had 17s on it at stock ride height and it rubbed alot (ruined a good set of tires)....

Looking to lower my SS soon

Hey guys, I've got a 1993 leggy ss and I am looking to lower it. I've heard along with making it look cooler, it helps braking a ton over stock as well as acceleration and cornering... Anyways what springs should I buy and how much should I set aside for the springs and instillation... I'm kinda a n...
