Re: Bought a new car(BMW content ITT)

Very nice score, I'm mad jealous. Is the QP damage as bad as it looks?

I've heard about r3v being down for other people but I have never had a problem with it.

P.S. I love the Hartge wheels!

Re: Dreaded Alternator Whine - Except it's not the alternato

Yes sir, the noise is definitely from under the hood. It sounded like it was coming directly from the alternator, which is why we replaced it. We had a similar noise about a year back but not as bad. It did turn out being the power steering pump, which was replaced and it went away. The noise from t...

Dreaded Alternator Whine - Except it's not the alternator.

Hey all. Last Saturday, I was driving back from a Welding class and stopped to put in some gas at a Shell station. Put in $20 and headed on my way. I heard a funny noise but thought it was the old f150 in front of me. Eventually, a gap formed between us and I realized the noise was coming from me so...

Re: Resonator Delete

We actually have TWO cats? Hmm, that's good to know... Good thing I didn't cut it out. The stock exhaust sounds alright right now and it's got a nice deep tone to it but I'm looking for something louder. Thanks for the info.

Re: Resonator Delete

P.S. Also, what would be a good muffler to just fit on the stock exhaust? I'm told sport cannon mufflers or something of the kind?

Resonator Delete

Driving a NA 92 legacy wagon. The exhaust has been untouched and it sound's alright but I'm thinking of upgrading soon. My friend wants me to just cut out the resonator (and weld in a straight pipe) instead and throw on a magnaflow muffler down the road. How would stock exhaust without a resonator s...

Re: 92 Legacy Front Lip

Thanks I'm looking into that. When I put Subaru as the make, no models come up from which to chose from :S Anyway, they'd probably charge a fortune. I'm looking for something that cheaper.

92 Legacy Front Lip

Hey there. I was wondering if anybody knew of any front bumper lips that were compatible from other cars or maybe a site that sold these. Aftermarket parts for legacys barely even exist and I've searched for months now. Does anybody know if there are lips from other cars that fit these or where I ca...

Re: Manual Mode in Automatic Transmission

Hey, thanks again guys. I guess I'll just stick to D for now. So if I understood this correctly, if you put it in 1st gear and on manual mode, the car will only shift when it hits redline? I haven't experienced that but if it's true, that'd be great because I'm thinking about doing some rally-x this...

Re: Manual Mode in Automatic Transmission

Thanks guys. So it a very primitive version of traction control? Should I be using it in the snow than for better traction? And I'm still not sure if it's okay to just manually shift through the gears

Manual Mode in Automatic Transmission

Hello all. I drive a 92 legacy wagon. It's an automatic transmission and it has this little switch on the knob that says Manual. When I press it, a light appears on the dash that says Manual. I tried driving it in this mode by actually shifting through 1,2,3,4(D) but I don't know if thats what it is...
