Re: Ksport coilovers
Mine blew within the first 300 miles. I called up KSport, and they sent me a new set with their new oil seals in the shocks, and they lasted for almost 15K miles, before I totalled the car.

Re: What brand rotors or what plating recommended
Not for aesthetics... I've had them on a few cars, but bear in mind, I heavily autoX every car I have. I've gone through a set of Hawk HP+ pads in 4 months before, with some PowerSlot rotors.

Re: What brand rotors or what plating recommended
Drilled rotors will crack. I've had it happen, on not only a street car, but also on a full-blown track car. Slotted works decently, but the best combo is Brembo blank rotors and Hawk pads (HPS for street, HP+ for track/autoX).

Re: Ksport coilovers
I had them on my '99 Maxima... aside from having them rebuilt under warranty when they blew, I had no problems. That car got autoXed 3-4 times a month, was daily driven in downtown Chicago, and I put close to 15K miles on them, before totalling the car in Dec. '07. Adjustability was incredible. And,...

'93 L AWD 4eat problems...
I just got this car as a barter/trade for a detail, with the prior knowing that there is a tranny issue. It has 253K on it, and the motor runs like a top. However, the car doesn't move anywhere. Well, I can't say it won't move ANYWHERE... It'll move normally when cold. As soon as it warms up, it's a...

Re: WTB: '92-94 Subaru Legacy AWD 4eat transmission
My '93 N/A should have the same TCU, flexplate, and torque converter as the '92 turbo, right?
If not, I'll probably need those, too.

Yeah. If it's cheaper to ship it to a business address, you can ship it to my work, which is in 32207.

Re: WTB: '92-94 Subaru Legacy AWD 4eat transmission
As long as it's a 3.90 diff, then it should be all the same, right?

WTB: '92-94 Subaru Legacy AWD 4eat transmission
I can't find ANY locally, and I need it ASAP. Turbo or Non-turbo, I don't care. As long as it's a 3.90:1 FDR, then I'll take it.
Can anybody help? Give me a shipped price to 32205.

Re: FS: turbo 4eat tranny, $300
That's unfortunate. I'm REALLY needing a tranny. Not a single one of the junkyards in the northeast FL/southeast GA area, have a 4eat from a '92-94 Legacy AWD.

'90 LS AWD 4eat into '93 L AWD?
I've got a '90 LS AWD with a decent 4eat in it, but the car needs several thousands of dollars put into it to make it "normal" again. A friend of mine has offered his '93 L AWD as payment for a full detail on his wife's '08 Forester... but the 4eat that's in it is completely shot. Is this ...

Will this all fit together?
I have the opportunity to "borrow" a set of 17x8, et48 Rota Boost wheels. I have a set of 225/45-17 tires waiting for me to pick them up. I have a pair of Cusco front caster/camber plates that were for a '03 WRX. I'm getting a set of '04 STi pink springs, and some GR2's. Will all of this b...
