czei,
Do you have them in the rear also? I am planning on doing the rear soon also.
How about a bigger swaybar in the rear? I have heard that helps
I sure like the front sti struts with stock springs. I had second fast time in the afternoon sesion at the last Rallycross.

Re: Best Rallycross Setup
Well I don't think I actually want it any taller. I was surprised that it was taller. I expected it to be about the same height as stock.

Re: Best Rallycross Setup
Thanks Josh. Right now mine is measuring 16 inches in the front at 14.065 in the rear. So it seems I am sitting about 1/2" higher than stock in the front withe 04 STI struts and stock springs. I haven't done the rear yet.

Re: Best Rallycross Setup
Well I have started. This week I installed 2004 STI struts with the stock Legacy springs on the front. Front ride height is now almost 1 inch higher than before. Does anyone have ground to fender measurements on a stock Legacy? I am thinking that my Legacy was sagged to start with given the front st...

Re: GD/GG Impreza (WRX/STi) springs on BC/BF/BJ cars: UPDATE
I have a 90 Legacy sedan n/a AWD. I take it the point of the Sti springs is to actually lower the car? Well I am looking for stock height as this will be rallycross this car but I want an upgraded strut. So my thought is that I can install 04 sti struts with my stock springs and be at stock height w...

steelies or Alloys for Rallycross
I found me some used 15" 195/60 R15 snow tires non-studded for the 90 legacy Rallycross car.
The question is will stock 15" alloys hold up ok? it seems I can find them for about the same price used as some steel wheels and I would think they will be lighter.

Re: Best Rallycross Setup
would regular Impreza WRX struts work good also or are the sti struts completely different?
So a larger sway bar in the rear sounds like it would be in order?
How about strut braces?

Best Rallycross Setup
I am fairly new to my Legacy but am setting it up for Rallycross. The suspension info is a little confusing as some people are setting up for Rally, some for autocross, some for the street. So I have a 90 legacy ls AWD n/a 2.2. I am thinking I want to be legal in the Prepared all wheel drive PA clas...

Re: Is 2wd Automatic and AWD automatic same on 90 legacy?
cool, I will just find a AWD tranny then. The guy with the 2wd tranny evidently had no idea what he was talking about. He tried telling me there was an inspection cover on the 2wd where I guess would be similar to a transfercase and that you could just remove the inspection cover and swap the rest o...

Is 2wd Automatic and AWD automatic same on 90 legacy?
I have a 1990 legacy AWD and the automatic transmission is out? Can I swap in one from a 2wd model. I found one much cheaper than the AWD version. Someone said they are the same except the 2wd one has something over the cover for the AWD.
Thank You
