How different is a 1991 Legacy vs 1990 Legacy?
My 1990 legacy LS 5-Speed non turbo needs a lot of new parts. Saw this posting on Craigslist, was wondering if I could swap a lot of the parts and then sell it. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/c ... 75886.html

Re: random electrical stuff!
Seems like most of the other electrical problems were solved by cleaning the 2 grounds you mentioned (they were corroded). Things that randomly got batter after cleaning the grounds, is that I have experienced much better Idling! More response from the Throttle and Better starting! The only electric...

The key chime noise hasn't gone away! all the grounds look fine.
This sucks, I can't stand to be in my car for longer then 10 minutes!

Re: Lock Cylinder
is the actual Lock cylinder replacement hard? Also since I'm going to have the door apart, I want to fix my Door locks too (the little pin is broken) I think I read that was a defect somewhere. Is that relatively easy to fix as well? Lastly, My Driver side door doesn't shut fully, literally the smal...

Re: random electrical stuff!
I've decided it's definitely the grounds! Most of the electronics start freaking out after rain/after I hit puddles. Where can I get a diagram of all the grounds? I looked at previous posts, but couldn't find any with images (as a n00b, I prefer images). Thanks a lot Josh! I see why you're the Admin...

Lock Cylinder
Hey guys, so recently when I tried unlocking my car door, the lock key just kept spinning and wasn't turning anything and now I have to get in through the passenger door! One of my mechanically attuned friends suggested that it was a lock cylinder. How did this happen? Do I need to go to a dealershi...

Re: Radiator end tank cracked!
Josh, do you recommend I go with an aluminum one then? Is there an aluminum one with copper end tanks? And thanks for the offer beatersubi! I'll let you know soon. I live in Minnesota.
Also if I end up going with the plastic end tanks again, any recommendations so it doesn't happen again?

Radiator end tank cracked!
My end tank cracked on the passenger side near the top facing the front of the car. The crack is still very small but coolant splurts out of the plastic if I drive it longer then 10 minutes. I've read this is a common problem on 1990 Legacys. My Question is where can I find the best aluminum one onl...

Re: Coolant Noob
I ended up just buying Prestone and filling up the reservoir.I checked the color of The fluid in the radiator before adding the prestione to the overflow and it seemed slightly more orange. Is that normal? Was I supposed to dilute the coolant with water before putting it in the reservoir? Thanks kim...

So really need little things explained in detail and in order. (Annoying) I know. Sorry. Anyways, I was reading through the car manual and although...

Re: Need Help with Rims and Tires
Yeah, I'll get to the body work, The rust is kinda overwhelming. I'm taking it slow. I'm more about performance then looks at the moment.
Ok, I would like Wide tires with small sidewalls, so are the 205/50R16's the best option? Should I buy them online or in person?

UPDATE!
Yay! Thank you guys for all the help. After two weeks of searching craigslist, I was able to track down a set of 02 Legacy Rims, with bald tires (but no bulges). The Guy asked for 200$ initially ,but I was able to get them for 140. Could probably have gone lower, but I'm happy. Here are the update P...
