Ignition issue car is down for a month now
Heavy ticking sound under the dashboard , idles up and down by increments , car wants to stiffer and shutoff , stalls . Had a code for ignition switch and neutral switch. I'm just Gona revwire everything the way it should be and pray for the best ! Is there a list of all the grounds somewhere in here that I could check ? They also messed with the radio looks like

I ordered one from lowmileagepArts.com should be pretty identical. Now my problem is getting to it . The Haynes ma I shows a steel plate to unscrew underneath the dash passenger side , underneath the carpet, but mine has a rubber lining instead of a steel plate that I'm having a hard time removing

Thanks so much cj91! I had a mechanic check my grounds before said it's all good so hopefully it's just the computer , the ignition is wired the normal way now and I'm about to swap the computer next week. I've always had a small electrical glitch on this car looks like I'm getting close to pin poin...

Hi josh , got the matching Switch from someone in here ( wow this website is a savior ) , come to find out the previous owner wired the switch diferrently than supposed to , he spliced a wire and grounded it to the frame underneath the dash I have no clue why

Just remembered about a old trick a friend of mine used to do back in the days, put a few magnets underneath the oil plan, to get all the metal particles down the pan and flush them eventually during oil changes....

my co-worker says during the 70's they would pour water and baking soda down the carburator (?) before engine rebuilts, all pistons came out shiny and poilished like brand new but all seals shot obviously from the baking soda (best way to clean out a dirty cooking pan btw)
