Re: Why is my car falling flat on its face?
@cj91legss for sure, it's probably not the ideal plumbing of the breather along with the bov, but I figured plumbed into the intake there's always going to be vacuum there, thus most of the air would go that way. @marsh27 I very well may give that a shot. Butt I'm also getting what seems to be clutc...

Re: Why is my car falling flat on its face?
@mike-tracy vacuum at idle is about -20psi @cj91legss that's just the valve cover breather t'd into that. All the intake hoses were brittle and breaking nonstop, so I just routed it all to the plastic box n made a makeshift S intake connection to use the remainder of the stock intake. @Legacy777 wil...

Re: Why is my car falling flat on its face?
yup, stock ej22t ecu. the 12-14 psi fuel cut could surely be my culprit---shoot, I was under the impression it was all good up to 15psi or so..... I guess even thought I was around 10 it would spike up around that amount...... am I stuck keeping the boost below these levels? it sure did feel great a...

Why is my car falling flat on its face?
howdy, I've got a 93 legacy turbo wagon manual swapped, which just got a td04 and tmic thrown on it. At first it was sweet up to about 15psi (somewhere I read the ecu will account for 16psi???) so after driving for a day I get a complete cutoff at random times....ie falling flat on its face. I dropp...

Re: no power to tail lights?
well could have sworn I checked the fuses multiple times and tail clearance was good. So I go out tonight trying to verify fuse number 5 on the f/b fuse box (fb 33/34) to splice in power there to get some driving lights, which I had thought was illum (I couldn't find for the life of me the fuses num...

Re: no power to tail lights?
ah yes, more info........ the clip I spliced up was the one that also had everything to the headlight switch, so I assume it was the correct one. same as you showed also...... there is another clip going to the column with the same clip, but has two clear/white connectors while the one I tinkered wi...

Re: no power to tail lights?
welp the problem resurfaced and come to find there were more replies on this thread. I crossed the wires like mentioned by subydady but no cigar. one is constant power, red/ yel, then the middle red one with power lit the interior lights, but the red/ grn didn't give any dice to the tail lights........

Re: 93 turbo wagon no spark, no fuel, bad ecu?
horray for correct timing :D so just a note to the onlookers with the self leveling susp in the rear, although no accessory belts are on the motor, the fluids still pump from the rear and wow, without the radiator in there with the two hoses connected to the end tank, it shoots like a bat outa hell....

Re: 93 turbo wagon no spark, no fuel, bad ecu?
so the belt's teeth were sheared off at the crank gear fully tensioned to the cam pulleys. craziness, all old and cracked nonetheless. got it all tidies and put back together. I found the timing markings and what not from the repair manual.....buttt after not starting and getting dark I got back to ...

Re: 93 turbo wagon no spark, no fuel, bad ecu?
checked continuity with 100% goodness so on to the cam gear and cam sensor pickup to see what the problem could be. go to crank with the timing cover off and the cam gear doesn't even spin with the crank pulley.... looks like timing belt went, which is odd because of having compression on one side w...

ahhh, and I forgot to mention after tinkering with swapping cam sensor and what not, all the other codes came back that were there before along with the 13 for cam sensor....... yup, been multimetering the bejeezels out of everything. I didn't really think a vr sensor had power, but when it said + t...

Re: 93 turbo wagon no spark, no fuel, bad ecu?
welp, have power to coils, have power to injectors, have power to ecu, even got the new ecu but no change. after cranking with the new ecu, the only code that threw was 13, cam sensor. swapped that out and no change. then checked the power to the cam sensor, but there is none. in this printout there...

Re: 93 turbo wagon no spark, no fuel, bad ecu?
swapped the cam sensor with no change. (not crank:D) have power to the injectors, re verified fuel pump workage. going to the coils though I don't have any constant 12v switched power. am I supposed to be reading this here? also re verified power and ground to ecu, along with the sensor ground on th...
