Re: Bumper material
Yes its weldable, the bumper on my wife’s 92 was busted pretty bad. About a 8 inch crack on each side, not sure what plastic it is but stainless mesh wire on both sides with uniweld ribbon is the way I fixed mine.

Re: 91 MT IAC?
Yes, the injectors are different but air/fuel is still on the rich side even though the gray ones are smaller. In my car I’ve cleaned the IACV hundreds of times along with the two small springs and the solenoid on the top. I have a few laying around and tried three different ones and never seem to w...

Re: 91 MT IAC?
I too have a 90 MT with the same IAC and I did what your thinking of doing. I changed the ECM from a 93 legacy, the IAC and the MAF to match. All my idle issues went away and runs like a different car. I should have done it years ago. I didn’t have any issues with wiring it was completely plug and p...

I knew 91 was special in the VLSD I though it was the axles, didn’t think about the stubs.

Re: rear axle difference
91 turbo has different axles because of the locking diff. I believe all others are the same from 89-94.

It sound like the HLA’s are just fully pumped up, they should bleed off when you start it.

Re: rallyak car's and journeys
I am still using photobucket but the pictures that wasn’t working I placed them in a different file then I was able to copy and paste back on to the thread. It’s weird that not all the pictures were shut down but about 90% were. Some of the sites shows that they sell the OBX diff but can’t get them....

Re: rallyak car's and journeys
No, I didn’t replace the washers when I installed it, and would of bought a new one but there no longer available so I called Ralli spec and ordered the oem unit from Japan. This is the one I ordered: http://www.rallispec.com/dif_gls_rst1903.html Little expensive but I’m sure it’s a quality unit. Yo...

Re: rallyak car's and journeys
Hi everyone, I was restoring all the pictures on my pages and figured I would do an update. My 90 the transmission was making noise so I removed it,and this the one with the OBX front diff. It lasted about 120k and the diff was started coming apart. The input bearings were all shot and pounded the t...

Re: Air control unit broken and can't find replacement
I would check the solder joints on the back of the hvac controller, 90-91s are notorious for solder cracks and all you need to do is touch them with a iron. Here’s a link: https://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1142 And one more: https://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t...

I've pulled the pan before in the car. I needed to loosen one of the rods to rotate the engine so I can remove the flex plate nuts. The car was free and I needed a 4eats.

This is and old thread, but in my case the plastic clips that hold the wiper linkage together was badly worn. I was parting another car out and changed the all the wiper linkage with good clips and wipers are tight now.

I wasn't aware they moved the abs computer from under the seat in 93. I assumed it was the SRS computer for the airbags.

Josh, I'm confused? What does ABS have to do with interchangeably of the panels? I know the SRS cars need the correct console to cover the computer.

Re: Interior Panel Swaps Pre vs. Post-facelift
Yes, seats, door panels, and interior panels are interchangeable from 90-94. Only few changes from 90-91 to 92-94. Few examples, console opens to the side on 90-91 (I prefer) but 92-94 open from the front and seam to get broke easier. One other is I like the tray in the lower trim under the steering...

Match the one with your car if you have a 5 speed. If you have 4eats I believe that the IAC should be the same.

It's basically a pulley with a zero balance, any 2.2 or 2.5 pulley will work.
