Adapters to fit them to the rear spindles. Kartboy makes adapter brackets.

Re: subaru 4pot/2pot brake upgrade

Good info Josh. Being a mechanic I understood going into my upgrades that the 4 piston design would equate to more equal pad pressure and contact. As for over all rotor size, I wasn't sure if there was really much difference. I have pics of my OE Legacy rotors next to the early WRX fronts and H6 rea...

Re: subaru 4pot/2pot brake upgrade

I've thought about it. I know the rotors are the same size but it's also the clamping force of the 4 pots that attracts me.

If anyone follows the Rally America series, Matt did pretty well while at 100 Acre Woods with his budget build.

Re: subaru 4pot/2pot brake upgrade

To weigh in on the matter... I have the early '02 WRX fronts (left overs from 2nd Gen LGT & 2.5RS) and the H6 rears with s/s braided brake lines installed on my car for autocross purposes I'm running Hawk HPS front pads with Power Slot rotors and OE rear pads with OE rear rotors. I took a run in...

It is a shame that this doesn't look promising for the N/A ECU. Glad I have a JDM model to be modified!

Re: EJ20G "RobTune" Info

Like Kimo stated above, the modification of the EJ22E ECU won't be a benefit t me, but it would surely help out those who want to do this mod on the cheap or assist those who have an N/A Legacy and want to turbo it.

Very cool!!! I don't any of us can thank him enough for giving us some sort of PnP solution to the hassle of owning an OBD-I vehicle and not being able to simply plug in a Cobb AccessPort and make all of our mods work with the car.

Thanks. That battery terminal has been very handy. It times out and shuts off so it's not parasitic to the battery.

Re: Need replacement driveshaft carrier bearing

Thanks for the part numbers Josh! Much appreciated. I'll likely buy new because if I'm going to replace it I down want to take any short cuts. The one on my car was a used replacement due to the fact that my original one was toast when I got the car. That only lasted me about 3 years.

Re: EJ20G "RobTune" Info

Well it seems that the only USDM boards that have that blank spot are JECS. That's why I'm making that assumption because it almost seems like they are based off the JDM boards (minus the correct amount of harness connectors).

Need replacement driveshaft carrier bearing

Does anyone have any idea where to purchase JUST the driveshaft carrier bearing??? The rubber isolator on my '92 Legacy is pretty well shot on my car and the dealership will only sell you the entire driveshaft. I've checked with Advance Auto Parts and Autozone and struck out both times. I want to ge...

Re: Grounding Mod FTW! (Inexpensively too)

Thanks for the feedback!! I'm not sure how much an extra ground there would help since I had already placed a ground at the main body of the manifold. OH, since I neglected to mention it... Total cost involved for the amount of wire used (7ft) and a pack of ring terminals should fall under $15.00. F...

Grounding Mod FTW! (Inexpensively too)

I've read my share of reviews and feedback on the various "expensive" & "cheap" Ground Mod Kits that are offered and I've also seen the kits that people have come up with at their local store ( home improvement or electronics store ). Once I read an article in Import Tuner ma...
