Re: Calling ALL CO members for a meet/cruise!! 8-10-13 meet
My main crank bolt broke off in my crank, hoping to get working on it here in the next week or so to see if I can get it extracted. I have another motor to drop in if not, have not hear it run so I am hoping it is good. If nothing else I traded one of my trucks for a Forester XT so I could bring tha...

Re: Engine build, need some advise
I am also looking into other options and wondering if I would be better off going with a complete EJ20g swap rather than building my EJ22t. What would suggestions be on this? It would be between a stock EJ20g or a built EJ22t.

Re: Engine build, need some advise
So if I ended up going with the EJ25d heads, I would likely want to run different cams or I could just go with the EJ20g heads and call it a day. I am completely fine with knowing to upgrade the rods as long as I am doing it now rather than having to redo it again later.

Re: Engine build, need some advise
But to answer the question about the power, I am not really sure what I can accomplish out of the parts that I had mentioned and would be willing to look at other options other than the VF-39, they just seem to be widely available. Also like I mentioned, I would like it to be reliable as well.

Re: Engine build, need some advise
Woops I left that part out, I would also be going with a Rob Tune. I have 5 more cranks that seems to be in good condition, I would just get it lightly machined to be sure it is good to go. I think first thing first, when I pull the motor I am going to see if I can't get the remaining part of the cr...

Engine build, need some advise
So tonight I noticed that the main pulley on the crank was loose and when feeling around I noticed that the keyway was missing. I have an extra keyway, but in trying to remove the main crank bolt it snapped off and there is about 1/2-1" of bolt still inside the crank. This totally sucks, but I ...

Re: Calling ALL CO members for a meet/cruise!!
Yeah I did a few upgrades to the silver SS, much more fun to drive. Next I need to get a manual boost controller and a wideband. We should have part of the meet go by my house to see if anyone needs parts so I can get this stuff cleared out haha. Should be making a craiglist/parts shed post here in ...

Re: Anyone in Denver That Can Wrench???
Yeah, I have a few VF-11's sitting on the shelf. I have not personally seen the issue with the keyway but I have heard about it in this site a few times.

Re: Calling ALL CO members for a meet/cruise!!
Yeah, I have been on that road before. The first good portion of it is pretty smooth, once you get to the washboard it is a different story. I am running KYB shocks with Eibach springs and it is not the smoothest of rides to say the least, and that is when I am on the street. Maybe next time though.

Re: Calling ALL CO members for a meet/cruise!!
I would like to make this meet, but the way I look at it my car is set up to be on the road...dirt roads and trails is the reason I have a truck. Let me know when the next meet is.

Re: Anyone in Denver That Can Wrench???
I am in East Aurora, if you are looking for some help I could possibly lend a hand. I just finished up my TD04 install and have more parts than I know what to do with haha. I have all of the tools to do what you are looking for as I have parted out about 7 of these cars now. Let me know when you are...

Re: WTB: steering rack for '93 sport
Best bet is likely going to be either taking yours out and rebuilding or buying one and rebuilding so you can swap it out. I have pulled several of these out of tlegs and I can really say any of them have been in good condition.

Re: WTB: 5spd pedals, clutch master cyl, driveline
I have all of the parts needed for the swap, 5-speed (not sure of condition, came from pull and pay), drive shaft, hydraulic clutch assembly, pedals, shifter, shifter fork with spring....all of it. I have not fully priced out what I am looking to get for it but shipping from CO is going to be a bit ...
