Re: Mystery Sound Coming From Behind Steering Column
Not the fuel pump, as that sound would be behind you. These cars do sometimes make a sound from the vent closure flap of the AC/heating control unit. It can normally only be heard if it is in the off position and there are no other sounds. Next time you hear it, turn the selector to defrost and see...

Mystery Sound Coming From Behind Steering Column
Hello, I am not sure what the issue is, so I am just guessing on which forum to throw this in. Mods can move as seen fit. The car is a 93 Legacy L 5 speed w/ 218k miles. I was curious if anyone had any ideas or could offer input as to what might be causing this sound. It only occurs after I have dri...

Re: N/A 2.2L Legacy L Clutch Replacement Options?
Hmm that flywheel might actually be 25lbs.
As the model # matches this one on amazon and it is 25lbs.

Re: N/A 2.2L Legacy L Clutch Replacement Options?
My Legacy SS came with an auto. I could not source a turbo transmission so I picked up a 2000 Impreza N/A tranny for 130 bucks at the local Pick-N-Pull. The R.S 2.5 clutch has more clamping force then a stock N/A 2.2 clutch. If you want a stage 1 then by all means get one but it might not be necess...

Re: N/A 2.2L Legacy L Clutch Replacement Options?
Just stick with the stock r.s clutch. Your transmission will not like a race clutch at all. I'm in the processes of swapping in a 5 speed in my turbo legacy. I am using a stock fly wheel and stock r.s clutch. I have a full standalone, td04 (18psi), intercooler, exhaust ect. The Stock r.s clutch sho...

N/A 2.2L Legacy L Clutch Replacement Options?
Hello, I tried searching, but came up short of a definitive answer. I have a 93 2.2L Legacy L 5 Speed Manual AWD. The clutch is not fully engaging when I shift at higher RPMs, like at 3.5K rpms I shift up to the next gear and it will not always catch. It will just continue to rev up more unless they...

Re: NA Dual Port Headers?
Those will not bolt up to the cat pipe section. You would need a "J" cat pipe section from a 95-05 Subaru. Then I believe your catback would have to be modified. I am going to be doing this shortly to the girlfriends car. They look the same as the OBX that rallyak suggested. They are for ...

NA Dual Port Headers?
Ok, so I am a new owner of a 93 Legacy L 5 speed, AWD. I was looking at the headers on the car and they appear to be dual port headers, and strangely looked like they were equal length (could be wrong though). Anyways, I was looking to replace the whole exhaust system starting with the headers and t...
