Re: HR Springs, GrpN Tophats,Helix DownP + STI/Cusco Strut B

So your'e saying I wouldn't have to put in a new 02 bung at the top of the downpipe to fit the stock setup. My engine is about to go back into the car so I could pick it up in a about a week if all goes well. Otherwise would you ship to 97223?

Re: Gaskets, bearings and seals kits for 22t rebuild questio

Where did you happen to buy your ACL bearings? I came across them on slowboy racing, but I've heard they're somewhat unreliable to deal with. I just bought the OEM gasket set. Just need the bearings and I will be set.

Is this a good kit? Comes with main and rod bearings also and costs about the same as just the OEM gaskets

wtb wagon tail lights

name your price. I melted a pair getting of the amber turn signals so the bulbs don't fit too well. I'd pay more for a pair that had the Ambers deleted or EDM. They'll have to be shipped or delivered though as I rebuild my motor

Gaskets, bearings and seals kits for 22t rebuild question

Whats a good set of gaskets, bearings and seals for an ej22t? IM rebuilding it and can't find all that many opinions of what's available. Also I was told metal head gaskets are good idea. Can anyone recommend one? Is Copper or Steel better?

WTB: OR Winestone front fenders, turbo bumpers, turbo hood

I just bought a wagon and the clear coats peeling pretty majorly on all these parts, so if you have any of these panels in winestone in decent condition I would love to buy them. If I can't get them all for a decent price I may just pay to have mine repainted. I figured this way they would match a l...

Re: Rokkor coilovers good/bad? do they even fit?

I heard the raceland coilovers are a little lower spring rate than the rokkors. Do they ride decent over rougher roads at highway speeds?

Re: Rokkor coilovers good/bad? do they even fit?

Also does anybody know how much drop you can expect on an SS? It says you can adjust from 1-3 inches on an impreza but I'm guessing the stock suspensions on the two vehicles are different and they don't weigh the same

Re: Rokkor coilovers good/bad? do they even fit?

Cheap coilovers always sketched me out. That's exactly why I posted this, but I figure with a two year warranty you can run them hard see if they deteriorate quickly and get them warrantied. But then again a little voice in my head is saying that they will start to ride like shit right after the 2 ...

Rokkor coilovers good/bad? do they even fit?

Did a little search and came up with nothing. These are them here: http://www.rokkor.com/coilovers/subaru/subaru-impreza-gd-coilover-kit.html They seem pretty cheap for coilovers. I was under the impression that good coilovers would be closer to a grand or more. I have a friend with a WRX who insist...

Oregon Driving Roads

I did a search and didn't come up with much so I figured I would post. If this is the wrong section then please move this thread. I'm looking for some good driving roads in the portland area, but if there are any Between Hood and the coast I'd love to here about them. What I consider a fun road to d...
