Heh, oddly I was just going to post something along this same topic. I've been wondering what average/optimal/etc.. EGT readings should be, as mine usually top off around 1600 @ full boost/throttle. On average, they shoot up to 1400 around town during acceleration, but usually level off around 1250/...

Heh, I had been looking at these injectors for months. I even lost a few auctions (before he made them "fixed price" auctions). He appears to have dozens of these for sale, as their always on eBay.. I've spoken with the seller, as well as vrg3 about these. Here's where we are: Vikash, I sp...

The non-turbo injectors were different between 90-91 and 92-94. I thought I had read, and seen pictures (on this forum) of 90-91 turbo injectors, being the ball type. While the 92-94 were pintle type. The fuel rails were different, too (which I can confirm) -- and that in order to use 90-91 injecto...

Interesting information about fuel injectors..

I just sent in 2 sets of fuel injectors to RC Engineering. The first set was from a 1991 EJ22T, the other from a 1993 EJ22T. The injectors are identical. The fuel rails, however, were different (those from the 1993 were slightly longer). I had read previously in numerous posts that the 1991 injector...

Oh, jeez.. someone should've sent me a PM. :D I'd love nothing more than to give a wonderful detailed explanation, but I can't. The wheel was installed by a friend who, like vrg3 if I'm not mistaken, is an E.E. major. As far as I know, he used something from the stereo-installer world to adapt it. O...

I know this is a little late, but it's something to consider. There's a service, called PrePaid Legal, which provides attorneys in these types of situations, etc. I've been using them for over 5 years, and they've MORE than paid for themselves. I pay $16/mo, and I am covered. Unlimited traffic ticke...

Well, I had assumed it was obvious.. but it's slated along the lines of ECU hacking. Whether it be by software or hardware, that hasn't been determined yet.

I need your ECU pictures! Details inside.

Ok, I'm working on a project, however, I need some pictures (if possible) of your ECU's. I need one from each year from 91-94. I need the pictures of the actual boards and the pinouts. I have a few pics of JDM ECU's, but I'd rather be 100% certain of the USDM ones. So, if you have your ECU's out of ...

Heh, these are quite common in the F-Body (Camaro/Firebird) world. I used to have one on a couple of my Camaros, however, I was never a fan of the QTP model. The original, and IMHO, still the best is: http://www.mccordcg.com/mpp/mpp.htm In any event, get a WRX exhaust and a custom (catless) downpipe...

Dunno, the guys at the shop weren't too thrilled and they needed to tweak a few pieces to get it in "perfectly". I told them that the midpipe would need to be extended, but they said it was more than that. *shrug* I'm really impressed with the DP, it looks and performs great. But yea, I co...

Just installed a WRX exhaust..

.. with custom downpipe, and I'm loving it! All the cats have been removed, just left the WRX resonator. So far I've noticed decreased EGT temperatures as well as quicker spool-up. Not a bad purchase for $60. :) The few posts I read here about the installs were a bit skewed. Hardly anything fit, 90%...

Jesus.. $200 for pads? I've been using Axxis pads for a while, and friends have been using them for years. They stop just as good as any other pad, and they're nowhere near $200 for a set. These were on my car during The Dragon 2003, and it stopped like a champ with no fading (of course, the steel b...

Well, it would be too much without balance. However, that's a catch 22. In order to balance, you would need an STi wing on the rear so the front doesn't seem 'out of place'.

However, the STi wing in and of itself looks ridiculous.. to each their own, though.

Electronic Climate Control Swap..

So, I've completely enthralled with the Electronic Climate Control system I've seen in the JDM Legacies. From what a friend tells me, the USDM Legacy LSi came equipped with this as well, right? In any event, what all is required for the swap. Is it a simple matter of swapping the Climate Control ass...

Sorry guys, the guy at the shop told me that there really isn't enough interest. Plus, those that are interested want too many different things done. Unfortunately, he was only willing to toss out cookie-cutter pipes in bulk.
