Re: RobTune issues/questions?

Might decrease the gap a little bit. It bucks when heavy into the throttle past 4k RPMS. Might drop it to 0.26 and see what it does.

Re: RobTune issues/questions?

Well issues coming back. When I get into the throttle real hard close to WOT in the high RPM's it feels like it cuts out. It doesn't really pop it just kinda does a slight buck. UGH SO TIRED OF SMALL ISSUES lol. Gotta love it.

Re: Injector #2 inoperable! ECU Code 15, running rough!

The 90-91 Legacies are so plentyful around here in the NW, I'm not sure what area you're from, but any junk yard should have a Legacy unless you're in the sticks somewhere. Grab a couple of injectors and clean em up and replace it. It would be mad cheap from a yard as well. I wouldn't bother finding...

Re: RobTune issues/questions?

I put a new TPS in and check the splice for the connectors. I am going to pull my TB off and get it on the bench and get the TPS dialed in. Then see what happens, and possibly test the wires back to the ECU. Although ever since I installed the RobTune, the throttle has been sticky. You push it and t...

Re: RobTune issues/questions?

Well now I have found my TPS sensor is not functioning. Adjusting and even unplugging it has no affect on my car. So I'm going to swap the TPS because I found it was cracked.

copper v powers gapped to .030 and the problem got worse. Like you load the throttle and the car just starts sputtering...

Re: RobTune issues/questions?

Well, made some changes. Last night I was doing pulls at 14psi at 12.0/12.1 AFR, well I turned my boost controller up to 18/19psi and now my AFR's are in the 11's and where they should be. So, that's weird, but not my lean issue isn't present anymore. But I am experiencing cutting under boost, if I ...

Re: RobTune issues/questions?

So I found a major problem, my throttle body was loose... like it only had 3 bolts and they were all loose so I tightened them back up and the car finally boosts and pulls hard, but my lowest AFR at 15 PSI is 12.4.... I'm annoyed lol. The car runs good besides that, my fuel pressure regulator is def...

Re: EJ22T With Robtune 550 hitting fuel cut in hard accelera

Check your map sensor and pressure exchange solenoid. It's the brown and black sensors on the passenger strut tower. Make sure that wiring looks good and make sure the vacuum line going from the PES into the MAP sensor looks good without any splits. I had similar issues related to MAP sensor. The VS...

RobTune issues/questions?

Hi guys, Been awhile since I posted. Just finished the 20G swap, and have been enjoying having my car back after it's been down for 6.. errrr 7 months. But shes back up and running! :) So, some backstory. I had the 550 RobTune installed with the 22T engine with the tandem igniter spark conversion. I...

I think they tried to cut down production costs after 91' by removing things like the oil cooler, VLSD, etc.

Re: robertpaige's 92' Legacy SS - build

Car is done motor wise. It ended up being a ton of vac leaks, and the oil leak was a bad grommet for the valve cover. Everything seems to run smooth and the car is QUICK, so much fun over the 22T. I am very happy.

Re: robertpaige's 92' Legacy SS - build

I got it in and together. it's leaking oil... behind pan middle of motor. thinking the o-ring for the wrist pin hole might be the culprit. I had issues getting it to run, it fires up, idles for a second then dies. Need to do some more inspecting, gonna throw it on the lift and check to see where the...

Re: New from Portland!

If you part it out, I'm local and could use a lot of parts. Fenders, bumper, possibly doors, engine stuff, interior stuff. Our cars are the same color so it would be sweet to get some stuff.

Definitely send me a PM or text me. 503-840-2286
