Re: EJ20g Swap problems
Maybe a bad injector or coil. Listen to see if all the injectors are firing. Also check to see if the coils are firing. You can also just unplug the injectors one at a tie and see if the car remains running or gets worse. Didn't think about that. I'll probably give that a try today. Yeah I bet a lo...

Re: EJ20g Swap problems
If I had a dollar for every time that's been suggested lol. I suppose I'm just stubborn? Granted, the tune isn't perfect and needs some adjustment, but as of this morning the car barely idles and barely moves down the road, so it seems like it's something bigger.

EJ20g Swap problems
Haven't been on here in a while, but if anyone remembers me, my knowledge doesn't go very far at all. '92 SS. Fozze Ej20g block, WRX ej20g heads, VF39 (bad seals i think), STI yellow injectors, GC8a Apex'i PowerFC with AVC-R, COP conversion, Catless dp. Sputters and stumbles when given throttle, but...

Re: ej20g(k) rebuild vs. v6 ej207
Ej207 is going to be a massive project. Full on wire harness build/merge. Its obd2 and will need the complete engine and vehicle harness. It'll take forever and cost a ton of money. You'd save yourself a lot of headache buying a gc impreza to swap that into. Its certainly doable with enough time, p...

ej20g(k) rebuild vs. v6 ej207
so im pretty sure my recently swapped late ej20g spun a bearing. At this point, I just want my car running again, and I'm prepared to spend what I need to get it going. my question here, with the 20k being higher compression and higher revving, is it worth spending the money to have it rebuilt and c...

Would it be cheaper to use parts from my stock dif and the new dif to make my current axles work?

Re: What year LSD will fit '91 Legacy L?
Both of my cars has 01 LGT VLSD with 4.11 gears with 95-99 outback rear axles. Need to change the flange or yolk off the old rear end so it matches your driveline and swap the studs in the rear cover and your all converted. So then would I be in the same situation using an '01 2.5rs lsd rear in my ...

4.11 LSD rear. axle help.
So I picked up a rear dif from a 2001 rs to go in my 92 ss. Seems as though I need to get different axles, or there is also a way to use parts from both my stock 3.90 dif to use my current axles yes?
Explain as if I don't know anything, cuz quite honestly, I really don't.

Re: 95 ej20g into 92 turbo leg
Kind of late, but figured i'd get back to this. Turns out there was ground wire not grounded that was hiding under the intake mani. Got that taken care of and she fired right up. Idles very high, above 2500, massive fuel cuts under wot, and misfires like crazy in higher gears..real snappy in 1st and...

D-check mode? I'm kind of a subaretard... LolLegacy777 wrote:Have you verified the pump is priming? Put the ECU in d-check mode which will cycle the relays on and off repeatedly. This will allow you to check whether the fuel pump is turning on or not. If it is, then yeah I'd look at the crank sensor wiring.

Re: 95 ej20g into 92 turbo leg
Alright. Not getting spark or fuel. Timing looks good. Can and crank sensors worked just fine when I pulled them from the ej22t. Turbo leg wiring harness and ecu. Modded intake harness slightly for 20g(k) intake manifold. Why it no work.

Somebody should jump on this offer to get the sedan rear skirt shipped over to the USA land....I had to beg people to send it here from Australia when I got mine. On the jdm rear lip, does it matter whether it not it is sedan or wagon? Met a guy with a wagon lip and neither of know if it'll fit my sedan.

^ that should help a lot.
Also, need an intercooler. Have a usdm bugeye tmic, ra gc 20g one, and a v5 207 one and none of those seem to work. Need 20k specific tmic? And if so does anyone here have one for deals?

Or, do the stuff kimo and cj mentioned on the 1st page. And still use the FC So the motor is in the car and all wiring hooked up. I had mentioned converting to coil on plug to my buddy to maintain use of my power fc, and he says that I would need a whole new harness in order to make that work. Is t...

Re: 95 ej20g into 92 turbo leg
Well before reading all this, my buddy had already done most of this. Used the throttle body, tps and coil from my 22t with a spacer, modified the intake harness for it. Problem we ran into now is the intercooler and the intake, and now ecu. Am I able to run the stock ej22t ecu temporarily like the...
