Re: engine gets very heavy

I would recommend clearing the codes, drive the car, and then see what comes back. the coolant temp sensor (code 21) is a likely cause for your problems. It may be telling the ECU an incorrect temperature and the ECU is causing it to deliver more fuel, which could cause it to bog. Its actually code...

So it's not needed?

Canister purge solenoid valve

Shouldn't the purge solenoid valve be plugged in? Or am I wrong. Its on my 1994 touring wagon. On my N/A its plugged in. Should it be plugged in the ej22t?

my new legacy!

My new turbo wagon. I got one good deal with this one. Couldn't let it pass by. I got it today, with 175xxx everything works great. Run great. Just needs a little work on the power steering problem. But for 900$ I don't care. http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae352/ExUriel/IMG_20130919_223353_zps6a...

engine gets very heavy

My engine gets very heavy when I try to step on it. If I press the pedal more then half way from a stop, it becomes very heavy and the revs go up very slowly. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: dome light help

Hmmm Do you have a multi meter or test light? I would suggest checking the wiring with the multimeter. The black wire with white stripe should have 12v going to it. The black wire should be providing a ground when a door is open. You can check this by checking the resistance from the wire to a know...

Re: dome light help

Hmm....well since it happened after those two events, gauge cluster change out and the wiring getting cut, it's likely one of those two things. If you're absolutely 100% positive the wiring was reconnected properly, then it's likely something to do with the gauge cluster. I know there were some wir...

Re: dome light help

Are you sure you got the wires soldered back together properly? Do you still have the 92 cluster? Do the door indicator lights in the cluster work? If you open the driver's door, does it show that in the gauge cluster? Yeah still on there. Works fine. All doors indicators work, on all 4 doors it sh...

Re: dome light help

When I did my 6spd swap I had the gauge cluster out. With the gauge cluster out the dome light did not work with the doors. If your dome light works in the ON position, but not the doors, I would suspect the issue is related to the gauge cluster setup. Have you done anything with the gauge cluster ...
