Yup it was off by 1.5 inches..
Got the control arm in.. drove it to my house .. it runs great.. steerings ok, no shaking no pulling.

still have to check the car is at a parking lot at my work.. if the crossmember is bent.. do i have to replace it?.. can i take that off w/o a lift?

A '95 Outback should use the same control arm, but the rear bushing is different to accommodate the factory 'lift'. It should still bolt in though. I would look for signs that the crossmember or the rear bushing mounts are out of shape. Maybe the crossmember is out of place? heres more pics http://...

My friend had a 94 legacy, it had a recent acciendent, the fenders gone, endlink got cut in half, and control arms bent.. just recenlty bought a control arm and endlink from a 95 outback.. but now I cant put in on there..
