Anyone?

I found the parts list required for the MT swap. However I haven't yet found the trans list that will work, is the a list of cars I can pull the trans from? We have loads of Subarus in our wrecking yards I can be picky.

Well my wife landed a new job that includes free public transit, so we're going to park the wagon and give her the transmission it deserves.

I would love to manual swap it. I have a friend with a donor chassis but he's currently in Alaska. Once he's back I'll start gathering parts and get to work.

It's definitely ATF. I run a shop where we work on DSMs and EVOs so I'm familiar. I hate gear oil with everything inside of me, very noticeable difference in smell and consistency. I have not checked the transfer case oil yet, I'm sure it could use some freshening up anyways. I'll drain it this week...

Just as title says, been searching everywhere.

Swapped the maf and fixed the broken intake tube. The other codes are gone after clearing them.

The previous codes are stored on the ECU again. This is driving me nuts, I'm going to have her leave it with me this weekend and see if I can't track the issue down. With DSMs multiple codes will often times mean a burn on an ECU trace or another issue related to the ECU, is this a problem in the sc...

After resetting the ECU did the active diagnostic again. Code 51 is what I'm coming up with.

The rattling is something in the back not the engine.

Just did the active diagnostic. The only code being thrown is a 51, doesn't make much sense since it's an auto.
I must be reading it wrong, I'm going to reset the ECU and try again.
