Opinions on fitment of 02-07 turboback.
I found this turbo-back on Ebay for $223 if i'm using a turbo-back from an 02-07 with the longer down pipe, is extending the mid pipe 6" needed at all? wouldn't the longer down-pipe make up for that length? I'm pretty sure stock 91 legacy down pipes are a bit shorter. and that's why i assume th...

I feel stupid but Im missing a knob on the dial what is this
what does the on/off switch and the dial below it do, the two below the "Real time 4wd" stamp on the dash. I'm missing the knob on the lower dial. and what does it do when turned left/right if I turn it right power seems to go to the rear and left seems to put it to the front wheels, I may...

Re: 4EAT transmission feels like it disengages...
Hi Aaron, Please allow a little bit of time for folks to reply. Regarding the transmission not going into drive at colder temperatures. This is normal and by design to help the transmission warm up. The feeling you describe when letting off the gas sounds normal. Can you give an example of the vehi...

4EAT transmission feels like it disengages...
1990 AWD legacy Ls with ej22t swap. Every time I let my foot off the pedal it feels like my Auto trans (AWD) goes out of gear and re-engages every time I press the pedal, is this normal, I read somewhere it's to increase fuel economy or something or other. It also did'nt want to go into Drive in -5 ...

Re: Does this look like stock height to you?
You from Seattle area? I don't know what you mean by slanted top hats, I have never heard of that before. Slanted or not, I don't beleive it will change the fitment of aftermarket parts, you should have no problem upgrading to anything with GC top hats. KYB is some good stuff. Car sits maybe a tad ...

Does this look like stock height to you?
I recently changed out the wheels for ones with new tires, and noticed a full set of KYB GR-2 struts and shocks, I've been thinking about lowering springs (Or raceland coils for imprezas). This whole car is a mystery to me, I bought it thinking it was a 91 ss but it had 1990 Ls on the title, soon re...

Front mount VS TOP mount
General opinions Is it worth it to go FMIC, cut the body and route the piping, can it all be accomplished without welding, silicone connectors and T clamps. are there Subaru specific kits that fit appropriately to a non-inter-cooled ej22t Or is top mount the way to go, it seems much easier to instal...

Re: Horsepower gains on 93 octane and 12psi
For 1, unless you install a Fuel Cut Defender, you will peak at 10psi. But if you have a FCD, even then the power increase will be very small. You should always be running 93 octane PERIOD. Bumping from 8 to 12psi on a non-intercooled VF11 car with a non-freeflowing exhaust will not warrant very ma...

Horsepower gains on 93 octane and 12psi
anyone know what the expected HP gains would be on a bone stock ej22t with boost at 12psi on 93 octane. (non-inter-cooled)
maybe 20-25hp?
what do you think.

Re: Small oil drip, somewhat confused.
Does your legacy have the factory oil cooler? Ive noticed my oil cooler leeks a small drip to the bottom of the filter. When I took my oil cooler off, the gasket was almost paper thin. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk I believe so, I'm not going to worry until spring in that case, a few drips h...

Re: Small oil drip, somewhat confused.

Also had another similar leak once from the cam vent hose on the top of the valve cover ion that side hose clamp...

Small oil drip, somewhat confused.
Ever since I got this 1990 legacy ls with an ej22t swap there's been a small oil leak, where one slow drip forms on the bottom of the oil filter. Assuming the problem was the seal on the filter I changed the oil with a new filter but, the slow oil drip remains. Usually happens ONLY while it's runnin...

I'm going to chop up the longest silicone hose in the picture for the small upper coolant line, but other than that I would sell you the remainder for like $20 if you want.cj91legss wrote:Had to jump on it haha

Let us know how the install goes. Also keep us updated on how long your kit lasts. I've thought about buying one of the Autobahn88 kits. I got the kit UPDATEDUPDATE: The upper and lower radiator hoses fit with minor trimming, The other lines don't match up with anything whatsoever. unless someone's...
