That looks good. I used the Z Series Autometer, only difference is the face is black instead of white. I opted to put mine on the steering column, too, but in front of the tach. In the picture (linked below) it appears to block the upper range of rpm, but I had to take the picture at a low angle to ...

The perspective in this shot makes your 94 look no taller than the trunk of your 91. Looks like a toy.

Congrats on a great deal.

I don't know how to say it any more directly- there's a roll pin. Inside that roll pin there is another roll pin.

The roll pins attach that adaptor piece to the final linkage rod that goes into the transmission housing.

no need for a picture of the stock one it's sitting in the trunk :) I take it the legacy linkage is like the cyl part, instead of the U part like the wrx. No, I think it's just a different size. I've collected all the parts, and looked at everything on the car, but have not taken it apart yet. By t...

strut tower bar cross reference fit

Speaking of strut tower bars, check this out... Looking for Whiteline STB for GC, to use on BC, I find part number KSB599 for the "forward facing" to clear larger STi intercooler. What I find interesting is that the same part number is listed for 2002-2004 WRX STi. Check it out here--> htt...

As the engine coasts down to idle speed it pulls a harder vacuum. So if you get 22 inches while the engine coasts and then 17 at idle, that's about what you should expect. My engine does that except I get closer to 19 at idle. Not that you need it, but I can confirm this. Installed boost gauge toda...

Hardest part was getting the roll pin out of the tranny, other than that, piece of cake. Yeah, I've looked at it and that's the tricky part. How DID you get that thing out of there? And, is that a single use item- should it be replaced by a new pin? I think I've got all the parts I need to install ...

Very nice. Looks good. BAC5.2, the badges under the rear window were discontinued after the 91 model year, so our 92-94's don't have them. I think the badges at the C pillar are an interesting design element. Obviously something that didn't catch on... with anyone, as far as I know. As a matter of ...

Thanks.

I wanted to tint 5% all the way around, but unfortunately state law limits the driver and front passenger window to 35% tint. I wanted to have the same level of tint all the way around.

91 Sport Sedan- work in progress

I've put almost 3k miles on it so far. Here's a link to a photo album, one picture as the car is now, one picture the way it looked when I bought it.

Re: More silly questions from the newb!

However, before I upgrade my wheelset (which I'm positive is going to be a pain in the ass if I use WRX wheels (size issues) . . . I realize wheels and tires are really the best option for a lot of my problems, but instead of dealing with a bunch of little headaches by slapping on WRX wheels, I'm p...

Re: Stock springs with AGX's or H&R with AGX's?

Punk555- if you are still rolling on your stock 15" SS wheels, I highly recommend going to 16" wheels. It's a cheap upgrade and will dramatically make your car better, provided that you get good tires. Your most cost effective route would be the ubiquitous WRX take offs. Put some high perf...

I just mounted my new wheels/tires. RS six spoke 16x7 with somewhat used high performance 205/50 tires. Of course this has transformed my SS. The tires that were on the original 15x6 were really crap. Grand Spirit Aqua Flow or some such. Not to mention that the car had been driven only about 1500 mi...
