Re: Stuttering/bogging under load UNDER 2k rpm
Checked Knock sensor, nothing. Checked codes, nothing. Still reset the ECU just cause. Should I post a video of what it's doing exactly? Would that help at all?

Re: Stuttering/bogging under load UNDER 2k rpm
I have cleared and checked for codes this way once before, but when the car was fine. I was just unplugging the battery negative cable, but will do this correct procedure today if I get the chance. I know it sounds weird but I really hope I get a code when i do it today; I just want this crap to be ...

Stuttering/bogging under load UNDER 2k rpm
So this what I said from a previous thread. I'm starting a new thread for anyone that might have the same issues (it seems like quite a few people have had these troubles this winter.) So previously, I stated that I would check all the vacuum hoses and TPS specs. This was in a thread about how I wan...

Re: WRX fuel pump in an N/A??
Update: So today I cleaned the MAF with MAF cleaner, still didn't help. After that I changed the spark plug wires with an existing pair to see if the pair on the car was torn some where. Still nothing. Tonight I will change the airbox to the 90* style and see if that helps. I don'r think the TB cooe...

Re: Hello I am new here. I have a jerky throttle issue.
Josh, this might be my problem as well.
I just checked the Ohms from picture #1, and fully closed is 9.70 K-Ohms; should the TPS be adjusted?
Edit: so this isn't my problem becuase I checked everything and it's to spec. I was measuring ohms from pins 2 and 3, not 1 and 2.

Re: WRX fuel pump in an N/A??
I have checked for any possible codes. I still have the airbox, but with the 45* style airbox, not the 90* that comes with the box. Snorkus delete. I noticed it started a bit after the intake tract and box change. I wonder if it's just too much air-to-fuel mixing. If so that sucks because the gains ...

Re: WRX fuel pump in an N/A??
Could the IAC be the issue? I've been having to adjust it regularly because it always drops the idle too low.

Re: WRX fuel pump in an N/A??
I just meant if there would be any negative affects from a high flow rate.
So I just replaced the pump and I'm stiff having the same problem. Injectors? Spark?

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Yeah, I still can't believe it. 195/60R15 Michelin Defender's @ $112. I know that's not a lot but it is to me because it's hard just to get by with everything going with college. They wear fine, it's just that i 'll hit a curb/nail/glass shards, etc. but not on purpose! It just happens i guess. I ra...

WRX fuel pump in an N/A??
So I been having issues with acceleration, where if I press the gas peddle down past 50% the car stutters like a fuel-cut. I saw someone had this exact same problem a while ago in this thread: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2096&start=0 They replaced the fuel pump and fixed...

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
1/23: radiator cracked on the front pass. side. replaced that. took all day because the transmission oil coolant lines got all kinds of messed up. drove fine, but over heated twice. burped the system some more and is totally stable now. yesterday (1/28): noticed my rear driver side tire was complete...

Re: Lowering a high rear end
Yeah, I agree that does look a little bit high. Are you positive everything is seated/installed properly with the springs/struts? Without taking the springs/struts (mainly the struts) it'd be difficult to test/compare. Do you still have the stock struts/springs? I'd be curious what the ride height ...

Re: Lowering a high rear end
Yep, I sure did haha. The rear is still higher then the front. Yeah, I was measuring against stock arch specs. Here is what the car looks like, I'm sure the spring have settled by now. http://i.imgur.com/Hbe8i2U.jpg The car is one a slight incline, so don't look at the top of the car, but at the sid...

Bumpin' an old thread..
Mike, did you ever get the rear ride height level? I just installed lowering springs on stock perches and my car looks like yours in the picture above on this page.

So I measured the side skirts, nearest to both wheels today and the rear is about 1" higher then the FRONT. looks like my theory was wrong..

Hopfully ill get to UPAP tomorrow to grab a similar cat section. I realize that adding a cat is bad, but i'd rather put it on an forget about it

So is that bolted up to a WRX midpipe, or to the existing midpipe?
