Painted my leggy DIY style!
I had a previous experience with my first car, a 1981 toyota celica liftback with a 2T engine (slow but high reving fun little sewing machine lol). This is the first time i actualy try it on a more significant car and actually caring about the final result. I got away from the city to do it since i ...

Re: Track Day pics and video!
Thanks guys! About the window, these are my conclusions. My USDM 95 wagon had only one touch down. The switch broke and i replaced it for a JDM spec switch and now it has one touch up and down! My 95 sedan es all jdm spec or euro or whatever but built in japan and it has up and down. So my conclusio...

Some pics from down south
First of all i'd like to thank the forum for allowing me to join. Unfortunately i don't own a BC nor a BF legacy (by far my favorite) but i do have the privilege to own a usdm 1995 subaru legacy outback 2.2 AT and a 1995 2.0 legacy gl. Down in argentina we have lots of 1st gen 2.2 GX and 1.8 carb GL...

Re: EJ20 turbo heads rods and pistons in sock ej20 shortbloc
I feel quite sceptical on the whole ecu/ems and wiring issue. I have done a bit of reading and browed all the videos i could find and still feel the most logical and "failproof" solution is using an impreza's ecu. I'm affraid of facing a harness splice and messing things up! Maybe i should...

Re: EJ20 turbo heads rods and pistons in sock ej20 shortbloc
Hi Mati, welcome to the forum. These rods and pistons will fit your engine and crank. The wrx dohc heads will fit also, you simply use the head gaskets designed for the wrx engine. The wrx heads have cams specifically designed for turbo and breath quite a bit better than SOHC in that capacity. Not ...

EJ20 turbo heads rods and pistons in sock ej20 shortblock?
Greetings everyone! I'm on the verge of a legacy BD turbo build and have loads of concerns! (i promise i will make a build complete build thread when i get started). The car is a stock 95 2.0 non turbo subaru legacy GL sedan with 165k completely stock. My initial project was to find a wrecked GC8 im...
