Does anyone know if the rear seats from a 2nd gen sedan fit in a 1st gen sedan?

Never tried it but I would say no. The design is different, the wagons drop down for the rear gate and no provision for a license plate. Recently my sedan got rear ended and local junkyard has a wagon that I could get a rear bumper from, does anyone know if it is a direct fit?
