Re: Bucking and hesitation issues

It seems like its choking......maybe its leaning itself out at WOT. The elevation is a big factor with the air going in right? If I feather the throttle its fine. As soon as I open the throttle close to all the way "BAM" doesn't want to get up and go. It doesn't stall either....some funky ...

Re: Bucking and hesitation issues

Hey thanks for the reply.......It almost does it off the cold start every time and yes after I restart it, it fixes itself. What boggles my mind is it does it more at high elevation. I work at a ski-resort at about 8000 elevation. I live at around 4000 elevation and it does the "bucking" o...

Bucking and hesitation issues

So I got this bucking issue, and maybe you guys have an idea of whats going on. After I start it up I go to drive away and if I try to go 1/2 to full throttle then it falls on its face like its starving for fuel. I figured out if I shut the engine off then start it back up it goes away and drives fi...

Re: Looking into buying a turboXS BPV to recirculate.

So just to be sure, that turbo flutter at low load is fine? If anyone else out there wants to chime in please do.

Re: Looking into buying a turboXS BPV to recirculate.

I was assuming that the flutter was compressor surge, but if you guys think thats normal to have turbo flutter at low load that makes me feel better. When I say part throttle, I mean low load (little to no boost between stop lights and shifts). Like you said theres not enough build up to activate th...

Re: Looking into buying a turboXS BPV to recirculate.

So I picked up a turboXS BPV and it seems like I need more boost to get it to open right. It works better then the stock by pass valve, but the spring must be rated for 12 psi or somthing. Im pushing 7 psi and it works fine after open throttle. Part throttle is a different story, as soon as I let of...

Ignition Ignitor Question?

I noticed my ignition ignitor module is just unscrewed and flouting under my TMIC. Would this make it fault, and possibly harm anything? I had to replace my ignition coil pack because it was arching. Does it need to be grounded to the car? http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f130/tsb6895/Mobile%20Uplo...

Re: Kills/Killed by...

I got killed by a jeep liberty (yeah I know sad) on a double lane to single lane on ramp to the highway. It was like the guy wanted to hit me, and the funny thing was I had the right of way. I was headed back from the junk yard with a quarter panel and I'd rather loose to a jeep then have to turn ar...

Re: after an exhaustive effort....

This might sound stupid but could it be the wheel weight?? On my 99 leg wagon I fixed the whole front end and I had the same problem and could not figure it out....Turned out to be the wheel weight was falling off hitting my break caliper. Stupid but true story.....

Looking into buying a turboXS BPV to recirculate.

After checking out other topics and posts, I like how the TurboXS BPV clears the TB. I'm confused with what everybody is saying about how there cars run rich when there dumping to atmosphere. Right now I have a 06 TMIC, with the stock WRX BPV vented to atmosphere and the engine is running lean after...

Thanks for the info man. My car has been leaning out at stop lights, and almost stalling. I hope the turboXS fixes the issues cus right now I have the stock BPV, and as we all know it doesn't clear the TB. I would hate to mess with the ECU.

Hey, just a quick question....How did you get the TurboXS BPV to clear the throttle body? Also has it worked well for you? Im trying to find a good BPV for my 94 Leg SS.

Thanks....

Re: F/S 94 legacy sport sedan, Utah

Yeah man the car is still in pretty good condition, no rust! I have been dealing with IACV problems. So fair I think I got it figured out. The IACV was bypassed to the PCV for some reason (how I bought it) and right now I am waiting on a pay check to get it to a shop to do a coolant flush cause I ca...

Re: Need Help Vacuum Lines

Its been awhile since I posted......(got busy at work). So here is what I came up with to fix my vacuum line issue. I guess I would call it a coffee can mod, but I used a short piece of stainless steel 3in. Bought some brass fittings to fit the hoses. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f130/tsb6895/M...
