Re: Original dash lights
Thanks for the info! Do you have any pics of how the mirror adjust/defrost etc. look with the backlight? Can't find a picture like that.

Original dash lights
Hey. A few of my interior dash lights have gone dark so I am planning to adress this matter by swaping all bulbs at once. I have a question though - does anyone have a photo of how the I-gen Leggy dash lights looked when new? Maybe a photo from a catalogue or something? What I need to know: 1. The s...

Re: Rain gutter - wet floor
Josh, my car had a paintjob done by the previous owner and I suspect that the drains are either clogged or completely gone. I'll have to drill new ones...

Rain gutter - wet floor
Since it rains a lot now, I noticed two major issues with my 91 Legacy N/A (sedan). 1. The floor under the drivers seat is super wet. I mean it's really bad - there is almost a puddle in there. 2. I have water inside the side sill (also driver side). When I leave the car for a few hours on the rain ...

Brake pedal and ABS issue
Hi! So I have a new issue with my car. The roads are slippery and a few days ago I had a chance to test out my ABS when stopping on a wet road. Everything was fine - the ABS worked and I drove home happy with myself. The next day I noticed that my brake pedal is a little more squishy than usual. The...

Re: 2.2 N/A sedan from Poland
Thanks for you kind words :) The car is still work in progress - there are lots of small things to tackle. One of the first things on the list is getting the car lower, because now it's sitting on Impreza springs. @Josh, thanks for adding me to the build journal section! I'll take same more pics and...

Re: Jerky acceleration (did all the search)
Josh, what should I check in the drivetrain? I believe the mount in my rear diff is shot, because I hear a knock when I rapidly let the cluch go after changing gear. Are there any other weak spots apart from the rear diff bushings? I still tend to put the blame on an electrical issue so I already bo...

2.2 N/A sedan from Poland
Hi, just wanted to show a few pics of my car. Bought it about 3 months ago from an old lady which rode it for the last 20 years. Just a bone stock 2.0 N/A. The car was in pretty good body shape (new paint job) and seemed okay. Sadly it was just a first impression and it turned out to be a nightmare....

Re: Jerky acceleration (did all the search)
I replaced the whole engine (now it's a 2.2 not a 2.0) and during that I changed the clutch to a new one (the whole shebang). The not-so-smooth acceleration from low RPM is still there. Can't figure it out...

Re: Jerky acceleration (did all the search)
Wtdash, thanks a lot! I'll check it out.
You also asked about the clutch. Can it cause these symptoms? The car doesn't suffer from any other issues that may direct to a clutch problem. I never had any slip when starting from full stop and the pedal-feel is fine.

Re: Jerky acceleration (did all the search)
Ok, so the sensor that might cause these problems is located on the intake, correct? On the side of the airbox. Where is the sensor responsible for the gauge inside the car?
If you might check the ohm measurments it would be great

Re: Jerky acceleration (did all the search)
@wtdash I've changed the fuel filter and plugs. Didn't look a the vacuum lines but I'll do that. The injectors are stock so 1 injector per cylinder. @rallyak my fan comes on often so I also suspected the coolant sensor, but my temperature gauge always stays in the same position - no issues with over...

Jerky acceleration (did all the search)
Hello. This is my first post, but I've been a reader for a while. Now I've bought my own 1gen Legacy N/A and I need your help ;) I don't really know the category of my problem so I thought I'd put it in the Misc. The patient: 1991 Legacy 2.0 N/A, manual The trouble: the car doesn't accelerate smooth...
