the alarm was installed after this problem was occuring. The ignition switch was replaced after that too. So if anything the remote start is helping me out here.
But if the remote start can do it, and my key cant, that would mean.....??? is the problem.

No ECU codes. The car won't stall when I am driving thank god, but temperature doesnt seem to matter now. I...

yeah thats what I thought, I couldnt really tell if that would happen, cuz the hoodscoop site below the hood on wrx so the air flows smoother into the hood. So couldnt I just indent the hood downward a bit, and try and mimic what a wrx does, to at least make it sit right? i am just trying to avoid, ...

WRX Hood Scoop Fitment Idea/Question

I was just kinda browsing around the boards, and thought of a few ideas, and wanted to run them across you all first. On the fitment of a wrx hoodscoop, which I know has been discussed several times before on here.... I was thinking.....put the scoop on the hood, measure, drill holes, then feed the ...

gotcha, how about a relocate kit or somehting?

but for right now I am going to leave it, but it is in the way of my top mount, that and I want to go front mount to, alot more room in the engine bay gets opened up, not to mention colder air.
But thank you all.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... =egr+valve

I read this that says removing it is bad, and could lead to detonation and such.

Only want to move it or relocate it so I can get my IC to sit properly.

Any other ideas then?

can I just take it off period, and what do I do about the vacuum hoses going to it or the hole in the intake manifold?
Do I just leave it or should I make a plate for it?

I appreciate the reply, but my info says EJ22-T, not EJ22T. What I mean to say is that I have a N/A motor turboed. And I wrote out what a EGR is, I just wanted to save you and others who would read this some time. But I figure taking in off wouldnt be a big deal, we shall see. In tampa I am located ...

EGR Block off Plate

My top mount IC is just touching the EGR valve. It still sits low enough but makes the IC crooked looking. I look at block off plates for the EGR since all it does is recirculat hot air back into the intake. Would making a plate to block it off and remove it be okay?

Perfect Power 7 looks pretty good after reading up on it. But no prices were given.

I feel pretty comfortable with the emanage, and I wont have to uninstall it to upgrade. But just want your thoughts on the maf conversion and if anybody knows more about it in the new emanage.

MAF to MAP

I have been reading over MAFs and MAPs, and we all know that for turbocharged cars or tuned cars, MAP is the best way to go. MAF is just a pain with turbos and bovs and idle and such. So I was looking at a conversion. I know most standalone ecus like ecutek and aem and such will convert this over. I...

Replace the crank sensor, problem still occurs, Cam sensor to, same problem but not as frequent. Ignitor ground is good too. The car will just turn off at idle, or in a turn, or whenever it feels like it. Whether there is a full tank of gas or if its low, if its cold outside or hot, if I have been d...

yeah pulleys are good, vacuum guage reads fine about 19inHg at idle 600rpm and about 14inHg when the a/c kicks on and the rpm goes to about 750. But today I just pulled into work and the car died on me, no rpm flow, car just turned off, rpms shot to zero.

well the car hasnt tuned off when I am driving, thank god, but it still acts up. It will drive great, then I park and the idle goes weird and slowly drops to 0, but I have had no problem turning it back on, but then it repeats, idle drops slowly down to 0, I have to give it gas or turn the a/c on to...

okay I replaced the switch today and rechecked my starter wires again. So far from driving it around for about 30mins no problems. I will have to give it a week or two to see if the problem reoccurs. Last night before I changed the switch, my car would drive and then just straight turn off, rpms wou...
