This statement is correct. I was more of a Perfect Dark fan instead of Golden Eye though.

Ill just check in to see if you have come across any EJ20G ECU's with an eeprom socket?

Stuck in Park

Did a quick search and didn't get much. Went to pick up a 1991 SS. Car would start but wouldn't go from Park. Tried what I'd assume the shift interlock is, and nithing.

Re: JDM parts from a land down under.

Pulled apart a facelift (16-bit) ecu today, greatly different board design. No daughter board hanging off a ribbon cable, and socket location clearly visible. Sadly, no socket present, you would have to solder in your own socket. But I can confirm that this ECU is socket-able, and daughter board/EE...

Re: JDM parts from a land down under.

I will try find a facelift ECU. It will be no different other than 16-bit over 8-bit, and probably have the socket. I will verify this before posting. Btw, I lied in the first post, i forgot pre face lift was 8-bit, I have updated this now. MANY THANKS. If it requires pre-payment or anything like t...

Re: Holley Hydramat - The end of fuel pump starvation?

Are they for sale already? How much do they cost and do they have a subaru kit? No such thing as a Subaru kit for them. They release 5/1. I am looking to see what Radium Engineering releases here soon, they have been teasing a Subaru Hanger setup which would be outstanding for what my STi will be u...

Reuben! Before I purchase the one without the EEPROM do you happen to have one laying around with the EEPROM socket?

Anyone on here run a block heater? It seems if you're having these problems they could be avoided by having one.

Re: JDM parts from a land down under.

Have a standard GT (200ps) ecu. $120. May be able to source a Wrx ecu that will run the old style 20G's, just without IC water pump control (240ps at the crank on the same internals and injectors), but I'll have to buy it in, so closer to $200, less if I get lucky. Shipping will be trivial, est $30...

Re: Enduring Solutions ECU board and why you should buy it

I just sent them an email concerning questions I had about their product. Hope I can hear something soon and get the beast a decent tune! I have been looking to drop some coin into this legacy so I am also looking into a nice little V-Mount intercooler setup as well!

Re: Enduring Solutions ECU board and why you should buy it

This is all VERY INTERESTING. I was just about to purchase a DIYPNP MegaSquirt as it seemed to me the only viable option to get all that I wanted out of the car without spending thousands on an AEM or LINK. The MegaSquirt would have had the car down for a while as wiring would have taken a few weeks...

Re: front control arms...

I will give you all a heads up on switching control arms. If you go through your Subaru dealer use these part numbers. The Impreza Wagon is a 20090FE000 and the Sedan is a 20090SA000. So if I understand all of this correctly for the wider front track go with the sedan set. What I am trying to figure...

Re: 90-93 Legacy Turbo Sedan - Body Differences?

The rear quarters you can cut the rust out and weld in a patch ether from a donor car or make one. Make sure you cut out the foam out in that area,(that's the reason for the rust) it is a moisture magnet that the factory used to seal the panels. I've done many times this way and it holds up good. cj91legss wrote:It's time consuming but you could go to a yard and get some. Drilling out the spot welds isn't very fun but it'll get you a panel.

Local yards around here rarely have Subaru's.

The bigger places like LKQ want gobs of money for panels, and at that point its not really worth it.

Re: 90-93 Legacy Turbo Sedan - Body Differences?

89-91 is different than 92-94 in the front and back. In the back, nothing is interchangeable. Front, slightly is, but with some modification. Wagon quarters wont work for a sedan at all. CRAP. I was hoping that they would be somewhat close at least enough to use part of the panel for the rust in th...
