Im running the ej25d heads on my 22 block and they have worked great! Just make sure you use a dremel or something to modify the head gaskets and definitely look into running cometic thatare .015 thinner then stock! Cheers

Ive been running my stock ecu on my ej22t block with ej25d heads on 550 injectos td06 20g turbo and on a turbosmart fuel cut defender at 22 lbs and the ecu does great however gotta change plugs rather often but it will work and will pull hard

Is any sort of climate control on when ticking is going on? After that have you checked the ignition relay to verify it is not clicking and makes constant connection? Any other codes in ecu?
