That's what I thought you were talking about. It moves freely. I just did the wheel bearing and that's what was causing the noise and vibration. Next is rotors and pads. Thanks guys!

Chris, did you ever figure out what was going on with your car? I know I'm waking the dead here, but it sounds as if my 93 leg is doing the same thing on the right side.

I figured out what gouged the rotor; the last person to do the brakes either lost washers or used the wrong bolts in the caliper. What are the sliders? Got brakes changed and it still makes an unruly amount of noise/vibration. Changing the wheel bearings today. Hope that helps.

I just picked up a 93 legacy and it makes a weird noise while driving. The previous owner thought it was a wheel bearing. The wheel bearings are fine, but the rotor is gouged really bad and the caliper bracket has crazy wear on it. The outer pad is like new and the inner pad is almost metal. I went ...
